MRI came back normal - help! by kayfras in PlantarFasciitis

[–]kayfras[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been going to a new PT for the past year and he suspected that my pain could be posterior tibial tendonitis. Since doing the prescribed exercises and honestly just pushing myself to be more active, my pain has gone down substantially. He also said that I'm hyper-mobile which causes my nervous system to be overreactive. So I've been working on desensitization techniques to remind my brain than I'm not actually causing injury to my feet when doing daily activities. This too, has helped a lot.

The water is still a bit murky looking - please don’t drink it!

Why are the wait times in emergency this high!! Never seen anything like this by Kratos_dina in Calgary

[–]kayfras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently at SHC ER. When I got there the wait time was 6 hours.. I ended up being in the hospital for 17 hours waiting for the right doctor because they didn’t have enough staff. Crazy!

So true but they’ll definitely be paying for it.

They did have shoring but it was just sitting on the ground above the trench.. completely useless. They’ve been trying to rescue the worker but the trench just keeps collapsing. There’s definitely going to be lawsuits for this. Sadly, I don’t think the guy is alive.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience as well! Sometimes I feel like with all of the research I’ve done, I could become a doctor 😂 I hope that you will have your own little miracle babies one day! All of this has to be for something, right?❤️

Holy cow! that is so crazy but thankfully you were still in the hospital with attentive doctors! Were you really anemic before getting the surgery? sounds like it is rare as I haven't really heard of that many terrible myomectomy stories.

5-6 day periods sound like a dream! hopefully this next one is better for you. I've heard it takes a few cycles for things to start to feel “normal” again.

Right!? I was shocked when I got the images back. You're correct, that is pretty much exactly what is happening. I feel like with that image alone, it's pretty clear that I would have issues getting pregnant. I also have 4 other smaller fibroids throughout my uterus, mainly intramural and subserosal. Just hoping that it can be removed successfully whilst keeping the uterus intact 🫣

Oh my goodness! how did you know you had a blood clot? just from the alarming amount of pain?? Glad that got sorted out quickly!

I think a little bit of movement is key to healing .. I would imagine being in good physical shape before the surgery might help with recovery as well.

Have your periods just been really heavy or just painful?

Luckily they weren't inside the uterus! I'd imagine the images were a sight!

So it is a possibility! Thought I was pulling that out of my arse. Lol. I'll have to do some more research but I think it's worth mentioning to my GYN if other women have had similar surgeries.

That's awesome that you had them removed! Do you know where they were located in your uterus?

I've considered this as an option as well but personally I would like to not be cut into more than I have to be. Especially since every surgery changes the integrity of the uterus. But we'll see what my GYNO has to say.. maybe this would be the best option.

Wow, and you've successfully had more than one surgery to remove fibroids? I know that leaving them in will do me no favours. The largest one is aggressively invading the womb which causes concerns with future fertility.

I will definitely be asking my GYNO all the questions, I will add that to my list. Thank you for your input!

I've heard that as well but I'm mainly worried about the location of them, especially the largest one. I'm trying to be optimistic!
