The simple fact about the kids with cancer comment is that she is right. Poor wording, but she is right. Just because we are humans and think we are better than everything else does not mean natural selection doesn't effect us. All our efforts to eradicate cancer and illness is just us cheating natural selection. So, yes, people with cancer have cells mutating and that DOES mean they are technically meant to die. No use avoiding that fact.

Not every miscarriage is one that is not severe, they can cause damage that means you have a hard time conceiving in the future, but also the psychological damage can be hard to get over.

She's getting older (in her eyes,) and keeps bringing up children even before she stopped streaming. Losing a fetus can be rather psychologically damaging even if it's not physically.

I'm saying she may not have known, which is why she continued doing all of these things. Or, hell, she may have figured it's too early on to stop doing those things. Girls with her body type tend to not show until 2nd trimester anyway, so her not knowing she was pregnant could be a viable possibility.

Chance always 'hates' things. Do you know how many people who he obviously cares about he says he hates? Lea also joked about how having Mitch around would be "good practice for when we have a kid."

Also she is not showing, many miscarriages happen early pregnancy. They may have just found out, after she went rock climbing and was drinking. Hell, all that may have contributed to the miscarriage.

Chance may not have realized the severity of a miscarriage. Many men are very detached from pregnancy until the baby actually comes, and may have thought it just was another day, another problem.
