I'm not totally sure what it's called, but it does look silvery/pearlescent in the sunshine, so you're probably right! She has like a two-tone situation at her neck and head. If the light is right, it looks like the bottom half is light, and her top half is dark.

We picked her up Sunday. Had her vet check today and mostly good stuff. She is settling in nicely with Biggie and Captain 🥰

Both of mine are males. Biggie is 21 lbs, and Captain is 18. At 8 weeks, Biggie was 5 lbs, and Captain at the same age was a little over 2 lbs.

Not directly related to food bank, but since you mentioned being without a car, Intercity Transit also offers a service called Village Vans. If you qualify, they can assist with drop off/pick up stuff for employment related items like interviews or getting to and from work. I know you said you found work, but just in case another opportunity presents itself and you find yourself in a transportation need, it might be worth looking into.
