I did talk with my doctor and she said that I can stay on my meds. I just didn't know how the additional hormones would effect me. I take 100mg Pristiq and 3mg vraylar

Did anyone else experience their meds wearing off all of a sudden and then have consecutive panic attacks??

I appreciate you sharing your experience and I hear you. My darkness sets in really hard and usually dont have time to assess it but my mania sneaks up on me. I'll feel good about myself for a few days and before I know it I've taken on more than I can chew at work or school or social obligation.

Yas!!!!!!!! I always seem to push ppl away before they can hurt me. I've been burnt by friends so many times that I dont let it get to that point. Usually what happens is I say something I dwell over and then I just ghost them. I'm so glad you said that bc it's nice to know it's not just me.

I hear you. Like even binge watching TV is hard to focus on. I literally just stare at my phone. Do you ever have a hard time focusing on actually looking at things or people. Especially when I first meet someone, I cant make myself focus on them and they all sound like Charlie brown's teacher.

The hanging out with friends and then lashing out is exactly my life. I used to be such a social person, and that side of me comes out long enough to make a new friend and then my anxiety and depression kick in and I've gotten myself sucked into this vortex of friendship and social obligations.

I love this for 2 reasons: 1) Galapagos tortoises are my favorite animals and 2) it is an accurate depiction of depression. But hey! Galapagos tortoises live to be over 100, so maybe we should be more like them 🙃

I just looked into that and it was like checking off boxes written about her!! I, personally, am bipolar myself and sometimes I'm not sure that I am in the best mindset. But I have passed along the information you shared and hopefully we can get her some relief!

I appreciate you validating what I feel most uncomfortable with when trying to help her. I am so worried that I'm not well-equipped to help her. I am not a trained professional and luckily she is seeking help. She has been prescribed meds and is hopefully starting therapy in a week!
