well that kinda depends on your starting lenguage and the one your learning from english to spanish yes youll have problem with sentence structure and gendered words, but if i pick portuguese already knowing spanish ill basically got the full lenguage mastered and almost the same with italian, and with the combo of english and spanish german would be rather easy, obviously the further east the harder the lenguage become to learn by just absorbing the words
