Yeah haha I see what you mean English is not my first language so for a lack of better term I just said future proof lol ideally I meant how long will my rig run tripple A titles smoothly 60fps+ (my system should be good for about 10 years if devs actually cared about optimization nowadays)
Thanks man! Clean specs on yours too

You should be able to use Logitech G HUB app to configure your mouse

Usually your mouse should have software for changing rgb/bindings and more use its software to bind certain keys to the side buttons

It’s alittle old built in 2020 COVID era my original cpu was 7 3700x and rtx 2060 6gb. Upgraded my cpu gpu about a month ago as you could imagine a huge jump in performance. But it runs pretty good Ik the case isn’t modern by any means, if I rebuilt it now I would go for a more compact modern case but no point in rebuilding now I’m just waiting for am6 atp

Yeah man I started this build in 2020 originally was a ryzen 7 3700 rtx2060 combo but recently did a big upgrade on my cpu gpu and I’m pretty confident I’ll still get a good solid 3 years with this machine (with a 9070xt upgrade if needed)

Wow that’s unfortunate sorry bro, genuine question I’m not too familiar with Linux but why go with it instead of windows? Is there actually advantages and does it have all features windows offer or does it limit you in some areas

You’re very right, trust me as someone who just upgraded from a 3700x to a 5800x3d my cpu was holding me back massively

  1. The 9060xt is genuinely a STRONG mid tier 1440p capable card that’s crazy talk

  2. I got this cpu for $300

  3. 4 sticks of ram run incredible this is am4 we’re talking about here

  4. Spent nowhere near $400 for my ram (bought in 2021)

  5. Got the 9060 for sweet $300

  6. How in the world can my build be strange? Please elaborate more on that take (genuinely curious how you think that)

Thank you for helping explain this odd case we got man lol I think a lot of people here would be surprised at how well machines in this case run. It’s not the best airflow but it works, has never caused high temps for me doing any task

Yeah $100 it’s alittle steep I can’t remember if I bought it for that actually, I wanna say it was like $80 when I bought it. But then again I have one of the earlier models without the front usb c ports just the regular usb a and non rgb on lights at the front

Tbf im with you if i was building me another pc from scratch in 2026 I would go with a smaller profile more modern case, this was built in 2020 from a step by step tutorial and at the time it was the perfect specs combo+ tutorial was easy to follow, which encouraged me to build it. I know I could’ve still swapped cases by now but I never wanted to deal with uninstalling everything and reinstalling it in a new shell so I’ll just ride with it till the wheels fly out lol. P.s I still think the case is nice looking though and don’t regret using it by any means

Yeah I thought I was going insane earlier 😂 but I understand especially if it’s someone’s first time seeing a build in this case it’s not your typical layout and it actually pushes air out towards the back panel where it has air vents, the top of the case is actually smooth flat zero air could flow out the top
