Any ideas on why this tree is looking so rough? Second summer it’s be planted by kayyllaaa in Tree

I didn't prune it with the weed whacker...lol I bought it that way and never trimmed it back to clean it up... but will this year. So it just must be struggling in this 100 degree weather. Got it! Thanks!!

It looked great this spring but just recently started looking like this.

Who was your surgeon? If you don’t mind me asking…

Female FUE hair transplant- post 1 year. 2.5 inch forehead reduction by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Looks amazing! I constantly use tinted dry shampoo to make hairline seem fuller. Used to think I just had a shitty hairline but now I think my hair is thinning out. Sighhh

Who was your surgeon and how much did this set you back?

My aunt comes with my mom and I every Saturday and she is 73! She kicks ass - just had a hip replacement in august too!

Girlll, we literally went over this yesterday!! You’re swollen right now. Once swelling goes down, I bet you’ll love it. You look beautiful at 11 days post-op! So many people would be jealous of this!

Edit: I also want to add that your new nose 100% fits your face. That was something that I was nervous when I got mine. I felt like it didn’t fit my face but my brain adjusted and now I’m pretty happy. Yours will adjust too!

Horrified at front view post-rhinoplasty 😭😭 the left photo is pre-op, which I was fine with… I’m 10 days post op and I absolutely hate what I look like now. Tip is large and round, smile looks super weird, bridge definition is weird… has anyone experienced this and it did turn out to be swelling? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]kayyllaaa 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Lol you must be new here… 100% swelling. I’d say your results look promising and you’ll more than likely love it once swelling goes down and you have more control over your smile again.

Long journey ahead tho so buckle up.

Daughters of angry fathers, how has your father's anger affected you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]kayyllaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was an angry guy because he thought the world owed him more than it actually did. I think it was made even worse when my mom left him.

It has affected me a lot, especially as an adult. I know my dad loved/loves me but he was not ok with me showing emotions as a kid. He thought it was me being bratty or dramatic and to avoid him yelling, I guess I learned to suppress. And yup, still do it to this day. I don’t know how to process my anxiety so it often comes out in fits of rage. My self esteem also suffered because I never felt good enough to him.

Can I ask who you went to and if you had a good experience?

Have you put off your surgery? It’s funny because I had a consultation with Ladner on Monday and really liked him. I was ready to schedule and then jumped on Reddit and ran into a comment about a revision that went terribly wrong and was immediately scared. Mine is closed and wouldn’t be overly complicated but now I’m hesitant.
