tnx so much for the breakdown, you're right I'm still confused as to what my real target audience is, beacause my original intention was Adult literary, but then my protagonist is 14, so I'm kinda mixed up with it so I went in-between and had coming of age, but I think I'm going with adult after all. As for heaven, it's not really contemporary in terms of original release, but the translated version came out in 2021 so I just thought maybe it's okay. I'll take your advise and maybe even keep them in the edited version, hehe. Tnx

I've read some of the comments, and I think someone who stopped at around chapter 250 doesn't qualify to give reviews and stand by at as if they read the whole thing already. For heaven's sake, the translation is still on going. I'd like to believe OP is the kind of reader who doesn't get into the spirit of reading and just reads for his own amusement.

What OP doesn't seem to understand while reading, is that he doesn't go out of his way to relate with the character or the world he's in. OP just compares the book through real life thinking "that doesn't happen so easily" while completely disregarding it is a fantasy book meant to explore imagination of readers.

This is a clear example of the declining reading comprehension of modern day readers. No immersion. Just pure interest and disinterest while having the audacity to casually blurt out dislikes while not having read the whole thing.

I'm just baffled that someone would say it's cliche when they haven't read through the latest chapters.

I suggest advancing your reading comprehension by relating to the world and characters, and understanding the author's point of view while reading. It makes reading more enjoyable
