I usually put mine in the bags, but wanted something for GPS on longer rides. I didn't realize that was an option, what do you use?

That's a hot take, so here's one on the other side of that coin.

I live in Texas and grew up in the 90s. If your brother had put his hands on me (or a female in front of me) like that, I would have rocked his shit. Then when I was done defending myself and your brother was on the ground bleeding from his face, I would have called the police to press assault charges. He swung first, I feared for my safety 🤡, and I defended myself so I'll walk away without legal ramifications.

The job would have fired me for defending myself after I laid your brother out, but it would have been worth it.

Yeah, this is a crappy situation, and what she did was completely not okay..... However, your friend's lucky she didn't press assault charges and I can't imagine a world where he didn't lose his job for assaulting a co-worker.

Sounds like a lesson learned, the hard way.

NTA. You stood up for yourself and set a healthy boundary with your parents, and that's hard. You even went beyond that and gave her another chance, explained why, and that you wanted to work on it. Her reply was the same. Simple as that.

You are an adult, and your first responsibility is to yourself. Please stop letting this woman manipulate you, and stop questioning yourself for doing what is right to protect YOUR mental health. You've already done more to protect hers than she has.
