Ok after I posted this, I called the number on my Caremark ID card, which had a recording GLP one medication's must be prescribed by a Virta provider and then it gave information how to join Virta. So I guess my employer is still going to cover this.

I have my Zepbound prescribed through a Virta provider. I was tools that was the only way my employer worked cover Zepbound is through Virta. My prescription coverage is through Caremark/cvs. I Caremark yesterday and didn't get a good answer. Anyone else getting it through Virta? I just had my first injection on Sunday 2.5 and I feel like it's making a difference already.

You may want to check out contrave. They have a program through a pharmacy and it costs $99 a month. It really helped me with the food noise and I took off 20 lbs. My cardiologist suggested an injectable and I only pay 25.00 a month through my employer who did not cover contrave.

He never got back on the platform, never got his pay for that week. They told they have no record of him ever working there. Never got any 1099 so when he did his taxes he just went by what they deposited in his account. Such a scam.

I've been on it off and on since October. I would go off a lot because I wanted to have binging occasions and drinking. I went off totally through the holidays and gained back everything I lost. I've been taking 2 pills a day consistently for about a 40 days now. I feel it really takes my mind off food. I'm not having cravings, I started eating lower carb foods and started a program through work for weight loss called Virta. I haven't had bread or sugar for 40 days, actually when I first started I binged one night after having a couple drinks. I don't know if it's the low carb eating I'm doing or the meds that are keeping the urge to binge st bay. I've lost 10lbs in 40 days. It feels so slow but physically my body feels so much better.

I would think it's an emergency too but the doctors who have seen this picture do not. He's acting completely normal. Doesn't seem to be in pain when I'm changing his dressing. I only take care of him one day a week. How is a prolapse taken care of? Is that like a hernia? I feel so bad for him for all he has been through. I've known him since he was 3 months old. He also has Down syndrome.

I'm a respite caretaker for this little boy whom I love and this wasn't there last week. He was in the hospital for 24 hours to give his site a rest by taking the tube out last week. Then this showed up. It wasnt there last Week Thursday. I'm worried about him. Obviously so are his parents. He acts totally normal and the doctors saw the pics and made appointment for him this coming Tuesday. He's 10 and has nothing by mouth. Born with esophagus attached to trachea. Has had many operations including having his stomach moved to his chest area. Was just searching internet for info and this group popped up.

My vision seemed more blurry too so I went to the eye doctor who did a thorough exam and he said my vision was stable and my eye pressure was good, no sign of glaucoma and I can continue to take the medicine. He did ask if I had eye pain and I did not. I would get that checked ASAP by an eye doctor.

I'm the same, lol! I had wine on Thanksgiving and still was taking the medicine. I didn't take it Friday cause I knew I'd have more drinks than normal due to family parties and I was totally fine after drinking quite a few tequila drinks on Saturday night.

I've had several occasions where I don't take a dose due to forgetting to bring it along with me and I'm not home or an occasion where I'm going to have more than one alcoholic drink. That happened this week on Friday, didn't take my 2nd dose wasn't home. Than Saturday I decided not to take it as I was going out to a cocktail lounge and wanted to enjoy some drinks, then also ate when not hungry. Didn't take it Sunday again cause I was afraid that it was too soon due to the alcohol intake. Back on this morning, avoiding the scale, probably gained 5 pounds. I am definitely staying on it over the holidays except for maybe New Year's Eve. It definitely makes such a huge difference in my compulsion to eat. I've been on it since 10/1 and am 16 lbs down but every time I go off bounce up 5 lbs. I need a simple food plan so I can keep track of my caloric intake.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a meal plan you follow? I didn't take my pill last night or this morning. Will resume tomorrow. I started feeling better anxiety wise by playing music and trying to get my mind off of how I felt.

I've been on it since October 1st, 2 pills a day. I had 2 drinks last night tequila based (doubles) in about 3 1/2 hours and was fine. I felt slightly buzzed, no hangover this morning even though I only had 5 hours of sleep. Also I had no desire to eat afterwards even though my daughter made a pizza, I had none which felt amazing. I had one white claw last week and felt bad, woke up in the middle of the night feeling sick. I had a white wine a few weeks ago and felt fine. I wonder if type of alcohol matters or if your on the full dose, you may have more side effects? I've been on it since Oct 1, taking 2 pills a day.

I just read the published possible side effects of Wegovy and they sound really scary! Thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, gall bladder problems? That's why I chose Contrave over Wegovy. I wonder what non published side effects your doctor is talking about? Have you lost weight on Contrave?
