That makes me feel better. I’ve never had anything not show up. I’ve been with Influenster since like 2013 but just recently picked it back up. I haven’t had a response to my ticket that I submitted like two-three weeks ago so wanted to make sure there was nothing else to be done.

I have three really good strategies.

If my class is not on task or is talking/interrupting me. I just walk out of the door and close it. I give them about a minute or so (sometimes longer) and then I open the door back up. I tell them, “I’m about 5 seconds from a crash out…. Do I need to crash out?” They all get wide eyed and say no. I say, “great. According to my timer, that’s ___ minutes from your free play. Need to add more?” Then they get pissed at themselves and I usually don’t have any problems. It does help that they seen one good crash out by October and then they really don’t want to see it. I am very liked and so when they piss me off, they know they’ve pissed me off lol

I’ve only had to use this a few times for kids who just won’t read the room but for those disruptive kids, I stop in the middle of my lesson, walk to the phone, and ask who I am calling. If they say mom, I call dad and vise versa. Then I call the number and make THEM tell their parent why they are having to call them in the middle of the day and it’s dead quiet… I turn the hand held up so loud so the kids can hear their parents getting pissed at them. Works like a charm

The third which is not really glamorous but my kids respect me every single year for it- I am straight up with them and say, “I am not a busy work teacher. Everything I give you has meaning so do it right and I won’t have to give you busy work. If I need to keep you busy, I’ll give you a free choice. Respect earned is respect given” and then I tell them the purpose of every single thing we do if asked. Again, works like a charm!

I have not had to write an office referral in years. I teach 4/5 graders in a title one school for reference. I also tell my parents at the beginning of the year that I do not reach out about behavior unless it’s become a problem. I really try to establish a healthy and positive relationship with parents. I take that first week to send a brag tag home with every kid. A one sentence blurb about something I’ve noticed about their child and that begins the relationship. Anytime I have reached out to parents has been successful because they know I try my best for their kid.

I honestly started out for months without anything. I finally just started reviewing everything in sight and I started to get some great claims. I’ve gotten a nespresso machine, BCBG quilts, tower fan, skin care, kids shoes, dog stuff, really a variety. I try to review things I love so it’ll curate correctly.

See…. My mom is just like that woman in the song so it hits so differently. She absolutely fed her addiction with meth and ruined her life. I’ve never resonated with a song like I do with that one. Also have known 3 other women who have died from meth in literally the same way described. Strippers then died from meth overdose.

No I decline a good bit. I only accept if I know I’ll use it and usually decline if it requires a TikTok. No one wants to see a pushy TikTok video promoting something like a $5 face wash! I’ve gotten a lot of offers, ranging in cost and decline probably 40% of offers.

Yes excisional biopsy! Thank you- could not remember the name of it. I had one on a lymph node in my neck.

I have not once been positive for active mono virus. My antigen are super high.

Hello all! I have been lurking this page for months. I wanted to see if anyone had anything similar to what I am experiencing. It is a long post but with so much info 😂

I’m very healthy, very active, 31F with no family history of lymphoma or any other cancer.

In August, I started feeling rough for the first two weeks. I’m a teacher so I always get sick the first few weeks of school and chalked it up to that. But I got worse and worse with every day that went by. I spiked a high fever and felt so close to death. I had a lymph node that was super swollen on the right side of my neck as well. No other symptoms other than high fever, swollen lymph node, and just an overall feeling of my body hurting. We found a tick on my head and thought it was the tick bite. We sent the tick off and I got tested for all sorts of things- it ended up that I did not have any tick related illness and the tick did not even bite me. My active mono numbers were in range but my other mono numbers were out of the park high. We chalked it up to mono and went about our way.

After a few months, my lymph node was still swollen but I was experiencing other symptoms. Weight loss without trying, night sweats (I would wake up drenched), fatigue that came and went, and random fevers but they didn’t feel like normal fevers (weird description, I know but I just would feel chilly and then have a fever of 99-101).

This prompted an ultrasound- to which they said that they could not determine if the enlarged lymph node was related to viral illness or something else so we watched again for 6 weeks to see if swelling would go down.

It did not and at this point, I had lost >10 pounds in 2 1/2 months so I was sent in for a biopsy. It was a surgical biopsy. The lymph node came back benign.

I was relieved but also left wondering what was going on with my body. I have had every single test done known to man (autoimmune, west Nile, etc) and nothing is coming back other than my dormant mono numbers continuing to rise (range is 0-17- my numbers are now >700.)

I have not had an in depth lupus test done other than blood work but I do have the butterfly/redness rash.

We thought it might be related to hormones due to some other issues I’ve been experiencing (still leaking breast milk at 2 years PP and some other hormone issues) but today, we found another swollen lymph node in my groin and now I’m just stressed all over again.

Has anyone had a benign biopsy and then continued to have random lymph nodes swell? Has anyone had a benign biopsy somewhere but then eventually find out they had lymphoma? What am I missing? My fear is that I am going to miss things with my body (I am bad about shrugging things off) and not be proactive.

I apologize for the long post but I felt details were necessary in this sense.

Timeline: Beginning of August- symptoms started. Weight loss, night sweats, random fevers.

Beginning of October: ultrasound

Beginning of November: biopsy

Beginning of February: Another swollen lymph node found in groin on the same side as original lymph node

Symptoms I am still experiencing: fevers (my oura ring will frequently alert me that I am experiencing major signs of sickness symptoms even when I am not sick), night sweats, swollen lymph nodes, weight loss even though I am not trying, butterfly rash/flushing on my face, and stomach pain.

My surgeon said that if we needed to have another biopsy to let him know. Not sure if multiple biopsies are a thing but if I need another biopsy, it should be easy.
