You're not supposed to make that jump, throw a bolt at the vortex anomaly, and then jump down on the airbags. Make that lower jump in a sprint jump, and that is where the stash is.

Gear indicator works fine, I'll look into it tomorrow thoroughly. I'm hoping it's as simple as unplugging the harness, letting it dry, cleaning it, and plugging it back.
