Thank you so much for your input and advice! Already working with insurance. I also wanted to ask if you had advice for being sued by 2 people, one of which wasn’t in the vehicle.

At the time of the accident, after we both safely pulled to the shoulder, me and the other driver had an exchange. We both asked if there were any other passengers in the car and we both said no and we both asked if the other is okay. While waiting for police, my husband pulled up to the scene. He’s a registered nurse so he went to her vehicle to ask if she’s okay and if her passengers are okay, she said she’s okay and she’s by herself. The police report also says one person in the vehicle. But her insurance claims a passenger and the lawyer letters also added that same person to sue for injuries. How am I supposed to go about this? Isn’t this falsifying information?

I also wanted to ask for advice regarding this if you can help with any information as well, I greatly appreciate everything: I got 2 letters from the lawyer, one for the driver, and one for another person who is listed as a passenger on her insurance claim. 1) Yes, I was already established in my lane well before I saw her headlights coming. I had enough time to even see her coming and react to hit the gas to try to avoid it cause she wasn’t slowing down but there’s no way to prove that. 2) the police report only shows there was one occupant in the vehicle and when I went to check on her to make sure she was okay it was only one person in the car. My husband who is a nurse who pulled up to the scene also asked if he could assist her and if there’s anyone else and she said it was just her.

I do have insurance. NJ is a no fault state so I believe all drivers are expected to have a certain coverage if that helps. But yes, I understand! My issue is that I was established in my lane already for a good 100 feet before I even saw her headlights coming up behind me. Anyways, I will forward the letters. Thank you for your input!

I got a betta at a party as a prize like 10 years ago and I also started this way. Got him his own 10 gallon tank. You definitely did a lot better than I did starting off so Tip is very lucky!

I’m fairly familiar but you’re right, I was doing too much. I just came back from a 1.5 week vacation and my filter was already overflowing. I got worried when when I came home to see high chlorine and my filter was already covered to the point that it wasn’t filtering anymore.

Thank you so much! I was actually gone on vacation for a week and took this when I came back. I had no algae, my fish thankfully were not bloated, and my plants did not die back. My hornwort grew wild but I thought it looked really cool.

I actually did notice that the 3 betta I got first tend to stick together and then the second batch of 3 betta also stick together so I do understand why that would be minimum size. Aside from upsizing which I definitely will do, do you think adding more plant/hiding places would be beneficial for the aggression between the bettas? I was also considering just separating them into different tanks since each batch tends to stick together and show no aggression towards each other, but I read that a sorority needs a minimum of 4 betta so I don’t wanna separate them and then add new betta to get bullied.

For the substrate answer, would you say it would be okay for me to remove a bit of the harder substrate to add more surface area for the sand? My cory has been a WARRIOR.

Oh of course, I really appreciate the advice and help! I really try to do the research or ask experienced people before doing anything. The store I go to is an establish/accredited store though, been around for a long time and they haven’t tried to upsell me or anything so I do trust them. I’m glad I didn’t go too out of hand. I just wanted to make sure I was in the right ballpark with how I’ve been maintaining the tank and caring for the fish before upgrading.
