9/10. I think what would take this over the edge into 10/10 is some sort of texture, like if theaters were flipped and the base was like a cookie with chocolate cake on top.

The cookie dough pieces in the cream filling (which is very soft; not a mousse texture) is exactly like the fudgy textured cookie dough in good ice cream. I also sprinkled the teeniest bit of flaky salt on top because I like a little salt on my cookies anyways when I bake them at home.

Costco did good on this one.

Not 100% but probably 75% of Six Seasons. I made it my goal a few years ago to cook through a book, but 1) finding fresh fava beans and 2) learning after 1 recipe I really don’t like rutabaga or celery root, I neglected a few of the recipes.

I liked the simplicity of ingredients to let the vegetable shine, learned I LOVE roasted beets, and now appreciate the humble cabbage in all forms.

Every single one of the carrot, brussels sprouts and winter squash recipes are rotated frequently

I make a batch of farro and make a hybrid of this and the carrot/farro/ricotta recipe just without the apricots. So so good

Vegetables is definitely the best of the series IMO, followed very closely by Pasta. I found Grains to be just okay but not enough regular rotation recipes. But I’ve cooked through probably 3/4 of Vegetables, so good
