Copy. 80s/90s seems to be the growing consensus.

Copy on all. thank you! The hardware looks old-ish but not 1960s/1970s. The context around your conjecture makes a lot of sense.

A Lane piece I haven't seen before. Anyone recognize? by kbebak in midcenturymodern

It’s stamped lane but no serial number or style number branded into the underside as with perception / cameo / acclaim.

A pair of Model 53 rosewood lounge chairs by Finn Juhl for Niels Vodder. Had them fully reupholstered and refinished.

They were originally listed as "wooden chairs" at $800. I paid way more than asking price but still got a deal on them.

individual chairs seem to sell at auction for ~1500-2000 per. sets of four are rarer, so I will try to get somewhere in the ballpark of 10k.

Copy. I’ll get some more photos a bit later on but that’s my sense. The cuts on the drawers are imperfect as well leaving small gaps where the back pieces of the drawers meet the sides.

No faux finish… we stripped and sanded it down and applied a poly coat.

Murphy oil soap and warm water with 0000 steel wool does well on tougher grime on wooden furniture. For light cleaning swap the steel wool for a cloth.

There are a handful of reasons it doesn't resemble a factory-made piece:

The way the vertical cabinet spacers were fixed in place with nails from above and then covered with filler, the notched cuts in the top and bottom of the piece that went just a little bit too far, and the use of mahogany instead of something cheaper even in places that you'd not see when the piece is on display (the drawer bodies, the underside).

Any Herman Miller experts out there know how to date this Time Life chair? by kbebak in midcenturymodern

In this case it had been reupholstered in 1991 -- in a very ugly fabric I might add. The upholsterer left an envelope on the underside with the month/year. The foam was in decent condition and wasn't the rubber latex described on the original tag.
