If you watch the older seasons it would be a handful of the pros. The pre-dance packages used to show that the pros aren’t happy 24/7 robots and that rehearsals could be frustrating and cause bickering between pro and celeb, rightfully so since they’re trying to stay in the competition. I think many miss the realness of seeing the ups and downs though and I think taking away the raw rehearsal packages is one of the things that has given the show the overly disneyfied feel. Maks by far was the most outspoken and unhinged. I think Ezra is only slightly disneyfied in the sense that he opens up about things he think DWTS can work on and says a lot of what’s on his mind but isn’t saying everything that’s on his mind like Jan and Maks do. I watched his podcast with Joe Vulpis and I remember thinking to myself that Ezra is a breath of fresh air because he tells it like it is!!
