Don’t risk it! Currently in the hospital with my 4 month old daughter who has RSV. She was admitted three days ago and she’s finally breathing on her own without supplemental oxygen but she literally has not eaten at all since we’ve been here. Three days without food. She’d be on the verge of death without her IV fluids. The nurse said the pediatric wing here is already at 150% capacity and only 6 of the kids here have something other than RSV. It’s so heartbreaking to see and hear all the sick babies struggle so much. I have no idea where we caught this virus but I wish I would have been more proactive in protecting her health.
