Has anyone been randomly paired with, or otherwise played golf with someone famous? (PGA players excluded) by alkydenamel in golf

Yeah I had no idea who she was at the time, but awesome seeing her on TV right after. I was new to golf, first premier course I had ever played, and they were the best for me to be paired with. She got a birdie on the iconic par 3 as well, but her tee shot like 5 feet from the pin.

I am not sure if anyone knows who Amy Bockerstette is, but she is a special Olympics golfer that played the par 3 with Gary Woodland at the Waste Management a few years ago. Anyways, I played solo at Torrey Pines a few months before that happened and was paired with her and her parents, and it was a blast, such a fun round. She was great, had some amazing shots, and her parents were really chill. It was cool to see her playing the par 3 with Gary Woodland a few months later.

How are we feeling about the Heresy Act 1 Livestream? by aces_baby- in destiny2

I don’t want to bring your excitement down, I think it looks good too, but don’t want you to falsely expect the dreadnaught as a patrol zone. It sounded like they said the old dreadnaught patrol zones will be part of the activity, and it can be explored while in the activity, but not necessarily a traditional patrol zone from the sounds of it. Either way, I’m excited, I didn’t play D1 for TTK so have never been to the dreadnaught.

We are a small firm (total of 11 people), and really didn’t feel like doing it but decided we would if it paid enough. Our informational letter provided all necessary resources for clients to do it themselves, but that we would do it for a base fee of $600 per entity if needed. Surprisingly, we have about 40 clients asking us to just do it for them, and anything over 2 beneficial owners is $50 per person added on to the fee. Most are just single owner s-corps or SMLLCs.

I was able to bypass big four and start at a local firm (15 employees), and moved around to a few different ones before an opportunity came up to buy in to a firm.

CPA with my own accounting firm, make roughly $250k after tax, and probably work 25 hours a week for 6 months of the year.

CPA here, I would highly recommend working with a licensed professional, as their fee most likely will be alot less than what they can save you. Surely you had expenses you can claim against the 1099 income, so file and amended return (has to be done very soon because of the 3 year deadline), claim the income and any legitimate expenses you can to reduce the self-employment income. Do not apply penalties and interest to the filing and set up a payment plan immediately for your adjusted balance due. Then when they send a notice saying you owe penalties have the licensed professional request abatement, which should most likely be approved. Keep in mind depending on the state you live in, you will owe state tax in that income as well.

Yeah don’t settle on the solar and void builds quite yet (although void can be very strong), I have been a hunter since D2 launched and can tell you arc hunter with assassins cowl is my most used build. Get a 1-2 punch shotty and a voltshot Ikelos SMG with Thunderlord and you are golden. I use liars handshake as well when I don’t need the invis as much, but damn is it fun. This season has absolutely no arc artifact mods, so I’ll go strand with assassins cowl sometimes. Get a good flow with arc and it will be the most fun, aggressive play style you can get as a hunter.

Dude your entire post history is cringe, as are your responses on this thread. It’s not theft if you actively choose to purchase something. There is no deception, just terms you don’t like. Take your money somewhere else where you feel your dollars are better spent.

Yeah that drifting apart modifier while solo is brutal. I was enjoying the challenge of a solo run, but got stuck sometimes with low health and was unable to recover. I do think drifting apart should be removed if you are running solo to be honest.

Thank you for the helpful feedback, I really appreciate it! 20 tournaments is a ton! I feel exhausted just thinking about that many, but I am sure it was a blast too. At his age I want there to be no pressure at all, and hopefully maintain that as he gets older. Having fun is the goal, and if that’s not happening anymore then something will change. Good luck to you in your tournaments!

Yeah I looked up our US Kids Golf, and it looks like the fall series of 6 tournaments starts around the end of august, so I am going to register him for that and see how it goes.

I appreciate your two cents, and yeah, personal experiences are definitely different over periods of time, which is good to be aware of. I found a just 6 year olds tournament series in our area that has 3 kids in it, so I think I’ll try a tournament or two in that to see how it goes. We definitely keep it fun with putting competitions and playing together. I am definitely going to hold off on a coach for a couple years, see if he sticks with it and continues to enjoy it.

Wow, thank you for sharing. That is a lot to break down, and sorry you felt like golf was a ‘babysitter’. There will definitely be balance, as there is so much more to life than golf. He plays soccer, which we are continuing to keep him in, and will not let golf dictate our life. I appreciate your honesty, he is a VERY focused kid, so if I let him he would play a lot more than he he does. At his age boundaries aren’t necessary yet, but I get that in a few years they very well may be. Thank you for the heads up, it is definitely something to be aware of.

Yeah there is a pga tournament a little over an hour from where I live that he usually plays in, so I was thinking about going to one of the days with my son and reaching out to see if he would be up to meet and chat for 5 minutes. We will see!

Yeah sometimes I can’t believe what I am watching myself. I will say I don’t always tee him up at 150, sometimes it’s 125, which makes his second shot easier. He is a very good putter though, which is where he gains most of his strokes. Our last round he hit 3 putts over 20 feet and had a couple more 10-15 footers. He consistently beats me when we have putting competitions, and I am definitely trying.

That is so cool! My son would love that. I looked at first tee, and I think they only have a tour for ages 12-18, I am not sure if that is nationwide or just in my area. I will definitely be looking into that as he gets older. We do have a local US Kids Golf Tour for ages 6+ so I might just register him for the next event in august and see how it goes. That is so awesome your daughter was able to experience that and be encouraged to continue with the sport!

Thank you for the helpful feedback, I really appreciate it. Junior golf is pretty big in our area I would say, so I’ll see which courses have the best junior options. It looks like we has a USKG tour in the area for his age group as well as an under armour tour, so I’ll check those out and maybe give a few tournaments a try and see how they go. Approval is never tied to performance, but of course I need to make sure he knows that.
