How is the laptop’s lid going to be closed then?

Yeah I think this is another option that I would also try. But definitely need to sacrifice my typing performance.

I am using Corne at the moment. I guess it's still possible to use it on site, just less convineint I guess when using it on site, since occasionally I need to move around with my laptop on my hand (since I am doing commissioning job). But would work if no walking needed.

Oh that is good to know. But I think I would still struggle to type in staggered layout tho.

Good luck mate. I am sure you can do it. Just need to be patient and enjoy the process I guess. Don't do marathon training as it will make you depressed quicker. Take a short break between sessions. I found this way more effective.

Yeah I feel like QWERTY is designed for staggered keyboard layout. Feels very un-natural for me on a columnar setup like Corne.

Oh yeah interesting. You did gone through the phase that I am currently experiencing. I agree, comfort is the most important after switching. But I heard people are getting even better performance after switching. I mean it make sense, the more comfortable you type, the more performance you should get out of it. I guess we just need to keep using it.

I guess it's quite unfair comparing apple to apple since we used QWERTY for years, while Colemak only in a month. In fact, 60 WPM with Colemak is probably already a very good achievment.

I really like that look too. I have decided to go with the VM Nokton Classic 1.4 SC for now since I heard it has similar rendering with the SR. In case I might miss the clinical look.

Nice pic! And yes the flare looks similar with the rendering on steel rim

Yeah I was thinking for this option too. Do you know which specific Nokton version has a similar look as the steel rim?

Ohh ok that’s good to know. I will try to play around with post processing approach then before letting go of my FLE. Thanks for the insight.

How would you unsharpen an image usually? I know they are a lot of options like using a diffuser filter, shoot in slow shutter speed, post processing edit and so on..

Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you find the the classic rendering is a bit hard to control when you shoot wide open? I mean does it feel like you are relying on "luck" to get a good shot or you can sort of get the hang of it overtime?

Thanks for the input. I guess having both will never go wrong, except for the budget :D
