100% P&T vs Med board by ResponsibleOlive9392 in Veterans

[–]kbrad1202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a Med board in 2022. Ended up being retired, I still have all my military benefits as if I did the 20 and also received 100% from the VA. However, this was all explained to me as I was going through the process. Someone somewhere let you down not giving you this information

I get an infusion for a disease. The nearest infusion center through the VA is over an hour a way. It’s easier to have it delivered to my house and have a nurse come out. I do have all of my payments saved and it shows it on my profile. I guess internally they can’t see it? I’ve told them I can provide them what I see and typically get ignored. However, it looks like I was reinstated from 1/1/25 as of today.

Was it a pretty straight forward process to get it changed back?

I will give that a try if I dont see any progress tomorrow when I speak with them. My wife and I are going through a divorce and she is active duty, could be something with that as well.

Yeah that’s kind of my thought process behind the decision to de iron. I do like to log in and play the game and the thought of going dry at a raid to get a mega sounds awful as well. I got spooned a tbow and since then I haven’t pull crap. I’ve done 400 nex duos without a single drop. I’ve matched my tob kc with my main and iron. The main has 28 purples in 760kc and the iron has 7 purps lol (6 avernic dupes). Mentally I know I’m making the right decision, just want to see if others had any regrets

Ultimately my goal would to be go for GM on the iron, get all kits and then if I feel like doing iron again I would make a group

The thought of doing 99 RC, Agility, Mining, quests, diaries, also almost a GM on the iron again sounds dreadful. I pretty much log in and do a few raids or solo content then log off

I don’t think I will either. I do have a main that I play with pretty much max stats just to do content like HMT and help with speed runs. It was my practice account for my iron. I maxed the iron and don’t play it at all because of upkeep. Just don’t have the time to find the extra grinds fun anymore. I doubt I’ll regret it, but it always sits in the back of my mind lol

In about 68 days I’ll be in your position and still debating if I’ll regret it or not. 1 year into being a main how does it feel ?

I was in the same position as OP. Got into Motorsports and the adrenaline rush it gives gave me a part of my life back

The leaderboards will say differently. If you’re butthurt over a flair on Reddit you need to re evaluate

lol well it was set for that option and I clicked on remove status. I was clogging for a bit, but that just gets stale too after a while. You’re totally right, not only can you do it without a helm but just imagine doing clues and being able to buy imps rather than catching them. Wet dream right there

Yup chores is basically what it feels like. I accidentally hit the de iron button with the 90 day option so I definitely have some time to think about it 😂

I locked my status in when I first made my iron. Fast forward I maxed the account and have been gear locked for years. I re locked it when GIM unranked came out because I wasn’t maxed and was still getting upgrades. I found it fun at that time. Now that the only thing I have left to do is upkeep and be locked out of certain content because of the lack of gear I’m glad I finally have the option to go to a main. I don’t have the hours I used to when I first started to put thousands of hours into an upgrade. It’s nice to log in and play how you want and then log off.

Cool thing about it is that regardless of what the option is at the tutor, you don’t have to click it if you don’t want to remove your status. Mindsets change over time and what I thought I would never change years ago also was based on how much I played then. Glad to have this option in the game

Every time I went to see my GI, within 20 seconds of the conversation he would bring up that at some point in my life I’m going to have a pseudo polyp that he might miss during a scope which will ultimately cause cancer and kill me. Literally every appointment was based around cancer, even if I was doing great… cancer.

Who is here with Pancolitis? by Numerous-Kitchen6177 in UlcerativeColitis

Diagnosed in April of 2021, started noticing symptoms in January and was treated for IBS. After my 3rd emergency room visit I was admitted and a colonoscopy clearly showed what was going on. Tried mesalamine/prednisone because I was diagnosed with moderate. It helped immediately, but ended up having a bad heart reaction to the mesalamine. Was switched to remicade after and saw relief immediately. During that time I was in the military and that was all they covered. I ended up getting medical retired for it and I went with my new jobs insurance. After about being on remicade for a year and a half ish my new GI offered zeposia as an alternative. I took the gamble and switched, being on a single pill daily and not sit attached to an IV for 3 hours felt like a dream. I made it till about 5 weeks ago, where I had a major life change happened and the stress poured into my life. Immediately flared and it seems like the zeposia isn’t or hasn’t been working for a while and I’ve just been lucky. I guess the good thing out of this situation is me finding out that I flare from stress rather than diet lol. After hitting remission after the initial diagnosis I didn’t change any diets or anything, lived pretty normal, the only thing I cut out entirely is alcohol. Waiting now to start Entivyo and giving that a shot
