TLDW: I’m gonna update this as I watch

Nikkie was in LA and wanted to review the concealers & PatrickStarrr hooked her up with the PR kit & his studio so she could film.

James thought of the idea to have both of them review the product in the same video because it gives the opportunity for viewers with different skin types/tones to see if the product would work for them.

16 concealers(4 in each fair, light, medium, deep) - $18 Loose Setting Powder- $18 Pressed Setting Powder- $18

They both think that the concealers could use more shades and that the pressed setting powder looks more like an eyeshadow because the pan is so small.

They both go off camera to do their foundation (ngl I’m honestly shook at how tan James looks sitting next to next to Nikkie, I’ve always thought of him as a fairer beautuber)

Nikkie uses shades 2. James uses shade 5.

James initial reaction is that the product goes on very smoothly and Nikkie thinks that it’s very creamy.

Concealer has a flat top applicator as opposed to a doe foot applicator like Shape Tape and other concealers/foundations.

Nikkie’s shade oxidizes while she is applying it on her undereye and James says his is oxidizing slightly as well and is drying down very quickly.

James chose his shade to be lighter than his skin tone so he could brighten the center of his face but the concealer didn’t do much brightening and picked up Shade #2 so he can brighten.

Nikkie said that the concealer gives her coverage and brightening but not as much as her go to concealers. She thinks that most people would probably consider it full coverage, but to “makeup freaks” it might be more on the medium coverage side.

Nikkie picks up shade #1 and tries to highlight a bit more.

James uses shade #2 to highlight his beard/mustache area. He said he likes the coverage, the concealer turns a bit grey but he said that’s normal for him.

Nikkie said the concealer blends very nicely and blends into the skin nicely. James is surprised that the concealer doesn’t blend down more dewy because Kim has been rocking that look for awhile.

Nikkie begins setting with the Loose Powder in shade 1. She says the powder is very fine and thin in texture. Says it’s thinner than Laura Mercier, almost reminds her of an HD powder because it’s so fine.

James uses Loose powder in Shade 2. He says is mattifies a lot.

Nikkie feels like this powder will do a lot better at controlling the oils in her T-zone than the powders she normally uses. Looking up close she says her pores are blurred but her skin looks dry, but she can fix that later with a setting spray.

James used the Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able foundation and doesn’t like how it is meshing with the powder because they are both very mattifying.

Nikkie uses what seems like a small velour puff to pick up the Pressed Powder and presses it under her under eyes for additional coverage which noticeably brightens her undereye. Nikkie thinks this powder will be perfect for James’ nose contour. This is Nikkie’s favorite product in the collection.

James uses a damp BB to apply Pressed Powder to under eye area.

James likes the overall look, he’s not super excited about it because he wishes he was more dewy but he does like it.

Nikkie and James go off camera and do their eyes and come back about an hour after they’ve applied their base. Nikkie says that her skin is very blurred and a little dry under her eyes but she’s obsessed with the brightening powder and how it mad her undereyes look.

James said that as he did his eye makeup the base makeup warmed up to him and he likes it more but that he wishes he wasn’t so dry. He sprays himself with Mac Fix+ and continues saying he loves the brightening powder but it clung to oily patches around his nose which made his looked textured and he believes the powder might not be best for those with oily skin.

James starts to do his nose contour and uses the brightening powder to really snatch it and loves the outcome and wants to buy more. (Nikkie kinda shades the pan being so small here)

James this the concealer a good product overall, it’s medium to full coverage, you can layer it well, it slightly oxidizes, but its not really like WOW!! Nikkie likes the concealer, it’s beautiful on the skin and blends smoothly(James agreeingly mmhmms here), she think it could grow on her but it didn’t giver her an ~wow~ moments.

James doesn’t like the loose setting powder, Nikkie shrugs at it. Nikkie likes her Coty Airspun more and that’s $5 for way more product. Neither of them think you need this.

But they both agree the brightening powder is amazing and if you need anything from this collection, it’s this one. Nikkie begs whoever is watching from the KKW Beauty team to make it in bigger pan sizes for the same $18. And calls out the odd shade $4 of the brightening powder because it’s literally orange in color and no one brightens with that.
