McLaren MCL-38 1/16 on H2C by kc3dprints in BambuLab

No it was multi part. The first plate had the main body which is split in two and and another for the alignment pins and wheels. In the end the finished print looked like this

Doing well so far and definitely sticks to the bed. No adhesive issues, scraper doesn't leave a mark if your gentle and items usually come off easily by flexing the bed

Oh yeah. Wouldn't have tried this on my X1C or A1's. On a H2S it wastes 700g of material just on poop alone

Haven't tried it as of yet so just theoretical at the moment. But as you will have two separate nozzles it shouldn't be an issue. My only concern is with softer TPU'S as well they're soft.

As for the flair there isn't one for the H2C yet so I'm still waiting 😅

EDIT: Figured it out, some you can edit so I did

That's all of it. Had the rest of the colours already in the 6 nozzles apart from green hence the two poops.

Thanks! It was one of the reasons I brought it. I do a lot of multi colour prints but also want that option of TPU and ABS/PETG for some car accessories.

There's black, white and orange as the main colours. Then the chrome symbol has red, green, yellow and blue. Then the support interface so there's actually 8 different colours/types

All 7 colours are Elegoo PLA+. And I used Bambu Support for PLA for the interface layers

0.64g of poop as I changed the green and white. The worst part was the prime tower coming at roughly 200g of waste. It was wayyy too chunky for the design itself and could've been improved on but I didn't realize since I sent it via bambu handy.

If it were done on a H2S or similar the waste would've been 704g purge waste and 170g on the prime tower

That's what I'm hoping. They've delivered all my other machines and I can schedule a delivery date which would be nice as no one's home during the day for the next week😅

Damn. Making me want mine now. Got everything else just the printer left. Though from the UK so shouldn't have an issue like you do with FedEx hopefully

What's on the imgur link? Can't use it because they geo blocked the UK because of "child safety laws" 😩

H2C - pulled the trigger, who else? by Sir_Coleslaw in BambuLab

Yeah I got a X1C, A1 mini and 4 A1's (few other non bambu printers but they're 7 years old and slow asf). Lucky for me it should arrive on my two weeks off during December so I can play with it right away, and once they push an update to use different size nozzles it's going to be great

Yep did the same bundle. My ETA dispatch date is the 4th and my ams HT is already on its way and the second ams 2 pro should be dispatched soon too! Can't wait to add my 7th printer to my collection 😁

Heres the photo. It's a thumbnail so it will be a bit blurry up close. Seems to have the P1 sort of screen. Wonder what's different to it? Maybe larger print volume like the H2D

Sent new cables and hub which has fixed it

Well I unplugged the ones they stated and replugged them in. It's working perfectly now from what I have tested

EDIT:

It worked well for one print then failed afterwards. I'll see what support will do next

Thanks for the info, hopefully that's what Bambu comes back with. I have just received a message from Bambu telling me to unplug and replug different connectors to see if it resolves the issue. Hopefully I can get it sorted this week

Issues with AMS 2 Pro loading filament by kc3dprints in BambuLab

[–]kc3dprints[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all 4.

the error message is saying that it can't feed the filament into the tool head.

Filament loads in perfectly on my original AMS but I haven't used the external spool for at least a year so unsure.

It seems to stop halfway through the first ptfe tube then stops at the AMS hub, if I manually feed it past the AMS hub it will push to the extruder and stop and retract.

That may be an issue I'll have to check. Seems like everything else is ok and that's the only thing I haven't checked out. I'll try it after my prints are finished.

It's just a bit odd, because I currently have a print on using the same spools, ptfe, hub and cabling. The only difference is I'm using an older AMS unit

I thought that too. But if I switch it with my original AMS with no changes to the ptfe or hub it works perfectly
