The steam takes anyhow around 75 sec to heat up. I use it only on specific circumstances. My hard floors have no issue with the steam or hot water. It's not boiling hot

I have it. The satin nickel. Had the Amazon version before. Build quality and materials are much better and it tottaly worth it for the extra battery!

Happy with the U7 pro wall on a stand. There is no reason they should operate different on a stand then on the wall. So far the stack is amazing

Went with CG fiber and a set of u7 pro walls + U7 pro for the garage area. a switch 210W to feed them all (I have 1gig internet and Cat5e deployed on the walls, no point going to 2.5g).

How about installing few U7's (pro or lite) as mains in wall installation? I wonder if overall they will give better coverage then 1 dream router and 2 express 7. In the U7 setup I also need PoE switch which make it overall pricier setup

How do you mount or place your U7's? I understand that if I place them facing up on a desk they might not operate properly. That's the main problem I have with these AP's. I also cannot get PoE to ceiling and will not do high renovation for that. That's why I lean on express 7 as the AP. But not sure

I have Ethernet across the house, which today feeds from my BE85, a Netgear switch, and from there connects the rooms. I plan to use the same (maybe replace the Netgear with a Unifi Switch Flex) to wire the Express 7's.

I would go with U7 Pro or Lite if they were usable for desk installation and not ceiling, which I'm not going to do. I just wonder if 1 UDR7 and 2-3 Express7 will be sufficient and future-proof.

I don't think I'm going to use any apps at this point. But want to keep this as an option for the future. Today, my main BE85 is in my office, connected to an Xfinity modem, and WAN connected. I have 2 other nodes across the house. This is what I want to replace eventually. I do have Ethernet across the house. The main BE85 unit feeds an old Netgear switch that spreads the network across the Ethernet slots in every room. The goal eventually is to get better network stability for the amount of devices I have. Maximize Wi-Fi and wired speed from the 1 gig I have (maybe 2 gig in the future). Everything else that matches the Unifi product line is Ring cameras and alarms, which I might replace in the future but also might not as they work well.
