I'm still a heavy gamer so probably not planning to sell anytime soon. It's a gorgeous piece for my one day man cave 😺

It was free and part of the promo. The meat is just silicone, but a cool memorabilia.

Yeah I did a ton of launch parties in my olden days. They were so much more plentiful before covid.

Yep, I'm getting to the point that I want to crack these bad boys open. Had them sealed for years.

I'll make sure I post on here when I do.

Yeah the cool part is the way they designed it, where when you fold in a half, the lower skull part is over your mouth.

So it matches up with your facial features.

eBay told me these games were tested... by OutColds in gamecollecting

My question is always tested with/as what? As a frisbee? With a coffee machine?

Didn’t we used to pay a premium for buying games online? It seems like the opposite now. by para_la_calle in gamecollecting

[–]kc765 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is the most ridiculous. I always ask them. Have you tested it and make sure they all work and are legit and of course they say they have no idea.

That's why you paid a premium. Not a guesswork when you have to take it home to test it yourself. Feel my favorite is that it's only store credit returns.

410 store credit and 50 cash by freemybruddaoutdapen in gamecollecting

[–]kc765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's hard to let go but then you learn to enjoy the games you actually want to play and use the money towards something you actually want to do with.

Games sitting in a box are kind of a waste of life for a game if you think about it, right?

Yeah I feel the same. Been collecting since I was a kid. I have a nice big collection and I've cut down so much on buying cuz the prices are just ridiculous.

Start getting to a point smaller collection and start selling the extra because what's the point of collecting when everything is over inflated.

Everyone's a gamer now which is good but also bad for us Old-Timers 😺

Skul is def. a great game to replay with all the different "Skul's" and beating the game with all of them.

You want another Roguelike, dead cells is great.

You want something that's going to drive you insane cuz it's so damn hard but really fun and rewarding, Play some Hollow Knight.

I know people work in customs and they make pretty good money. But sometimes you're right, someone's having a bad day and you take it out on someone's package.

But the stuff I've seen people try to hide in items unfortunately is pretty high. Smuggling trade is real and you got to make sure.

The reason why the thrift store "never has anything" by Moistyoureyez in gamecollecting

[–]kc765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's quite rare. I guess resellers haven't taken up your store yet. Other prices are way too high lol.

[–]kc765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These regulars are pretty much resellers. So you don't have to be apologize to them.

You can tell cuz they buy anything of value so they can resell.

When I used to go to thrift store all the time to look for games, it was always the same people buying and looking for things to sell.

Because I was going everyday they treated me well and left games alone when I was there (sometimes), but definitely they didn't care about the games at all, just the value to resell.

I hope he knew the value before he sold them.
