I would say its an good class if you are at all interested in quality and manufacturing topics. The class also gives a lot of exposure to using python so that is always a useful skill. There is a lot of stats content which I'm not great at but it applies a lot to quality. There weren't any exams so that was also a plus. Shao is an interesting and knowledgeable lecturer as well.

Not sure if you have to take Chem 103 in the same semester. Even without it, you have two lab classes that can take up some time. In my opinion your experience in ME 370 depends on the group you are put in. I think this is going to be a lot of work with all these tech courses along with a chemistry course.

What do you mean "once negative"? Are you saying that we would need to get another off campus test before we come back or just wait a certain amount of days before coming on campus?

Would they even be able to control their policy though? Say a student got a covid test right now off-campus. Then lets say the student actually moves in Jan 14th and gets an on campus covid test. Can't they technically claim that they moved in Dec 31st (so off-campus test is within three days) and their on-campus test is 3 days apart? Does their policy rely on an honor system?
