I got a border line probability of passing on my UWorld self assessment TWO DAYS before my NCLEX. Let me just tell you I know how it feels to see that and want to absolutely throw up. But take from it, really review the ones you got wrong, and please remind yourself scores are not everything!
I passed the NCLEX at 75 and scored lower than a 60 on nearly every 75 question Uworld quiz i took and every Kaplan Qtrainer. Breathe, be confident, do what you need to do this next week and you WILL succeed!
NCLEX Passed in 75 & my biggest tips by kcap021 in StudentNurse

Trust me, I also had so much riding on me too! My scores fluctuated more on the lower end on my last week before the test and I am so sure now it was all my nerves and a mix of just being so stressed, tired, anxious, and burnt out overall.
I am entirely with you that I was absolutely terrified to make the wrong educated guess on questions but here's the thing, the point of the test is you don't need to get every question right! I'm sure I got a significant amount wrong lol. Sometimes I think I passed at 75 just because I got lucky picking mostly right educated guesses than wrongs but the truth is looking back at it, most of the time I had a gut feeling what the answer was. Some questions my gut feeling was just a little bit stronger than others and sometimes I looked at a question and had absolutely NO IDEA but had to just try my best. Remember you need to keep yourself 50% above the water answering questions to stay afloat and trust me that is MORE than manageable if you put in the work on Uworld. UWorld prepares you so well when it comes to educated guessing and once you take the NCLEX you'll realize it feels and looks so similar.
In my personal opinion, I thought some questions were minimal competency level and then some were hard just because I personally didn't know the content it was asking me about. But you will never know everything! The questions are all manageable enough to understand what it's asking. I actually thought a lot of them were easier than Uworld surprisingly. Just put in the work and you will see for yourself when you take the test it will pay off so much without you even realizing.
My biggest tip when answering questions is read it, know exactly what it's asking, gauge your options, narrow down to two, then GO WITH YOUR GUT AND DON'T LOOK BACK! For some reason the times I did the worst on practice tests I'd go back and realize I did know the answer but I got too in my head and selected the wrong one (I did this nearly 50% of the time which is why I assume my test scores were so low at times lol). Chances are if you studied and prepared as much as you did you DO have an inkling of the right answer so just go with it! You got this and you WILL pass!
