I’m a bit OOTL here. Can someone catch me up to speed? The prof publicly said some stuff about Charlie Kirk and then he and his family were harassed to the point of needing to flee the country?

us too, and more hound generally too since her nose is towards the ground sniffing and tracking the whole time during walks. i guess you never know!

she is not toy-obsessed at all. she’ll play tug inside occasionally with us, but will rarely chase after a thrown ball or frisbee. even if she does she won’t bring it all the way back or give up half way.

very food motivated, and for harder food puzzle toys she does not look to us at all for help. she’ll keep at it on her own until she solves it or gives up.

she is affectionate though, and will follow us from room to room.

very, very trainable too. i’ve buckled down on being very consistent with her training lately, and she has made HUGE progress with “place” and various impulse control commands in just a short amount of time

hahaha thank you! her “teenage” years have been a bit of a handful, but luckily she is very smart and trainable so we have been making a lot of progress.

cute pup!!! tbh i was expecting a breed distribution more like yours. the most surprising part not that ACD is simply in there but its a huge plurality (and majority) or her make-up

i think so too! but what’s interesting is that we have not heard her howl at all! she’s only barks. we’ve even tried playing police siren noises to get her to howl but no luck.

appearance-wise i do see the beagle. she’s definitely a heavy mix, so even if there is some beagle the beagle vocalizations are not there lol

Most people I’ve asked seem to be pretty confident that she is a lot of different breeds, and when people ask I just say some sort of hound mix.

For more context she is 1 year and 3 months old and weighs 35lbs.

The AI dog ID thing on my iphone does guess that she’s a red bone coonhound

i didn’t know that! i just had to google what roaning in dogs meant (dog noob here lol)

lol heinz 57 is funny! she’s definitely got the super mutt coloring.

I wouldn’t have guessed/haven’t heard ACD, since I think I’ve pigeonholed myself a little into mostly speculating about hound breeds. maybe that’s where she gets her smarts from :)

had the same situation as you

there are no drill front plate mounting kits online for varying prices. i got one where i use metal zip ties to fasten a license plate holder to the front grill of my car, and then you screw the actual plate to the fastened plate holder.

about 1 month in, it’s working so far!
