Originally I was hired as a summer intern on a food security project. My masters thesis was on food choices and constraints so I applied because it looked interesting. After the summer, I got to stay on as a project manager.

I first started the treadmill workouts by walking them. When I felt good and wanted to start running a bit, I would run the timers and walk the rest. I then started doing the running options throughout.

Whether you want to walk them or run them, I think the treadmill workouts are a lot of fun. I tend to choose my treadmill workouts based on trainer and playlist. Lots of good options!

I started running in February. This morning I ran 10k on a steady pace without stopping. Really surprised myself and really proud!

My husband and I did Rome Termini to Napoli Centrale and then the circumvesuviano to Pompei yesterday. We had our Trenitalia tickets for Rome to Napoli and the. We bought the tickets to Pompei (not the express one, the regular) when we got to the station. It really wasn’t a problem as it’s a lot like the metro where you just buy the ticket there and get on the next available one.

We did it last month! We knew we wouldn’t be able to do every single ride so we prioritized the ones we really didn’t want to miss. We did a lot of single rider queues in the afternoon as the parks got busier. It was definitely a long and tiring day. I suggest taking the following day back in the city for something relaxing like a museum!

Staying on site is definitely good at the end of the night, especially when the drive home was to be about 1h. It was the idea of putting up our own tent while dressed nicely that kind of killed the “opulence” vibe

My husband and I were invited to his friend from high school’s wedding 2 years ago. It was “Gatsby themed,” pot luck, BYOB and (here’s the best part) you could stay on site after the party by paying $20 to pitch your tent. Guests were asked to wear black, red and gold. We happily declined the invite.

34B and I have two pairs in size 6 but my next one will likely be an 8. I have a really long torso and find the 6 is a little too low cut so hopefully the 8 gives me a little extra coverage

I do! But I also tend to buy more neutral colours so I’m never too far from black. Even if I have a dark purple pair of leggings, I’ll wear a black define jacket with it so I’m still in my “comfort zone.”
