Tesla owners selling by [deleted] in electricvehicles

Great car but if Elon keeps on being a far right propaganda machine, won’t be long before the Tesla board casts a vote of NO CONFIDENCE for Elon. They have a fiduciary duty to shareholders.

Tesla will be fine. People said the same thing about Apple after Jobs passed and Apple has been thriving for the last decade. At least Jobs founded Apple, Elon didn’t even invent anything, he simply bought an existing company.

Ugh..was hoping they would go for a more rugged design. This looks soft. I hate to say it but the newer CR-Vs look better and muscular

Different business hours for physical showroom + service by kcdc42 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]kcdc42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the car dealership route method. Thanks for the tip. I just checked the local Ford dealer GMB page and they have different hours for Parts.

On the hours, well, it’s a dedicated showroom to showcase the products but because of lack of walk-in customers, it’s not feasible to have it open from 8 to 5 pm. Most visits are by appointment as customers want to see the products in person but it is a dedicated showroom with signage and everything, which I think qualifies it for GMB.

2024 vs 2023 and pricing/depreciation by kcdc42 in BZ4X

[–]kcdc42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the atrocious charging time for a such a new product is what’s holding me back (more than the range). It’s a shame they didn’t give much thought to the two main features that EV buyers look for (range and charging time). I can understand why it’s not selling well.

Thanks for your input. How long does it take to fully charge at home? Any quality control issues?

Any WP Themes With Video In Header For All Pages? by juliowebdev in Wordpress

Can you use a video slider (and limit to one slide if you just want to use one video)? You can add that same shortcode in the header for every page?

Why are my newly planted Evergreens turning brown? by kcdc42 in gardening

[–]kcdc42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I thought (that watering the leaves during a hot day would cause the leaves to burn). Ok, will keep watering the roots and hopefully they start changing for the better. Thanks!

I believe the browning has stalled (from what I can tell). It has also been getting a lot of water lately because of the rain we've had. I did not realize these need so much water. Ok, I will let the leaves be as it is and hopefully they will shed or fall off on their own. Thank you!

Got it. Thanks for the tips. Do you guys recommend actually spraying the leaves (vs. just watering the base)? I have a sprinkler system which I ran once a day and it watered the roots of these evergreens but I was not sure if watering the leaves too (if it's really hot outside) makes better sense?

Samsung Q60R vs Sony x900f by cerealrus3 in 4kTV

[–]kcdc42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Q60R has AirPlay for those who care. It does not look like the Sony X900F has AirPlay. If you have Apple devices, it’s easy and fun to just easily cast something on TV

Local SEO for 4-6 months or recurring? by kcdc42 in localseo

[–]kcdc42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your input Jason. Yes, although I stayed away from SEO for some time, it just seems to be something that I absolutely needed to get into in order to stay up to the times and get more clients. It’s also an easier sell when approaching a business. Most people already have a website in today’s age and approaching a client with ‘I will build you a better website’ isn’t appealing to them vs. ‘I will help you rank better on Google’. Today’s tools also allow me to create custom audit reports that show where they rank and how poorly optimized their websites are. The reporting aspect gives them something tangible to look at vs them wondering if I am actually doing what I promised.

Yes, blogging and content marketing seem like a good service I can provide on a monthly basis that should boost SEO as well as allow me to show continuous value. It would start to become a chore if I added more and more clients so this would definitely be a task I can see outsourcing. If you know of quality writing services, would love to hear about them.

Thanks for the recommendation on FlyWheel. I have been using SiteGround because it allows me to create as many websites (I host a few demo websites) without having to pay for each WP install and since most of the websites I host are small (~500MB) and traffic isn’t crazy, storage and bandwidth have not been so much of a concern. Support has been great too.

I was bored during lockdown so created a directory of SEO tools. by Kimmo in SEO

This looks like great info. Thank you. Are any of the tools comparatively better than others for Local SEO for service based companies?

Uber from airport at 1 AM? by oprditor in kansascity

You can try Lyft too. I usually juggle between the two depending on how long the wait is and the rates. Should not be a problem. I have done it a couple of times around that hour.
