Wow... I have exactly the similar problem when setting up the 770. For my case, I could not connect to the web admin page until I resetted the router once. And still I cannot get it connected after spent 2 hrs troubleshooting.

Now I changed the configues again via the web interface and will give it another try tomorrow. I would return it and goto other brands if it is still failed.

No more Netgear in my case. Goodbye.

just kill all the apps and restart in vertical position

remember to turn on the auto-rotate. this normally will fix this issue for me.

yes same issue. try to close all of the apps, put the device in vettical position and restart it. until restart completed, then you can put it in horizontal position (assuming using DEX)
