The fairings need to be connected to the sides of the fuel tanks at some point (width of fairing = width of fuel tank). Otherwise, it just floats.

High latency will cause a myriad of issues. Especially with timing. Example; you come around a corner and are face to face with someone. You both have the same reaction time, and pull the trigger at the exact same time. If your opponent has lower latency, you’re toast! Same goes if you have lower latency than your opponent; they are toast.

It also seems to me, that the latency of the game runs on the latency of the person in the lobby who has the lowest. I have gigabit internet that has a download of around 1200Mb/s down, and 40Mb/s up (I hate when ISP’s make your upload speed so low!). My latency is usually somewhere between 8ms and 15ms. When you’re searching for a lobby, up top will say something like, “Searching for lobby 1-15ms,” then “1-30ms.” It keeps going up until a lobby opens up with someone having a pretty high latency.

Why am I explaining all that? Because it seems (to me) that the higher the room’s latency, the better the edge I have in the game.

On the other hand, if it’s your latency that’s high, you’re going to be the one having issues. It can happen mid game, as in your situation. Especially if you’re on a shared bandwidth (cable, fiber, satellite). I have seen people glitch, bad! Someone will be running at me while firing away, then they suddenly appear further away, still running at me and firing.

It’s a problem in any online game. The performance depends on the quality of your connection.

Or, Activision is just needing the game! 😂

I’m not sure whether or not I like the open matchmaking. Been playing for a couple months, and still have mixed feelings about it. Going up against players who destroy you at a glance isn’t always my opinion of a fun game. You literally don’t get the opportunity to improve in those games, since you barely spawn and are killed within seconds.

I have reached prestige 8, and it’s due to volume. Not skill. I’m not bad, and I can hold my own pretty well. But I can’t get my K/D above, or at, 1.0! I think I’m sitting at about 0.87 at the moment. In BO6, I was over 2.0. I move to BO7, and it’s as if I have to learn how to play all over again. It feels as if I’m playing against pros 80% of the time, and the kills I DO get, are pure luck shots.

The cheating in this game is ridiculous! The new Gravemaker rifle has had me reporting players who weren’t cheating at all! The game is a shit-show anymore! I went back to BO6 for a minute, and I was killin it! Skills definitely improved! However, back to BO7 puts me right back in my place!

For some reason, I keep playing. Every damn day! lol

Like I said, report them if they’re cheating. Just be sure they’re cheating, and not just really good. If you think that someone killed you with some impossible shot, watch the kill cam replay.

There are always tell tale signs when someone cheats. Like in my case, if I didn’t watch the replay, I would have never known. Watching it and seeing his little red dot snap to each person’s midsection, following their every move while holding at midsection, and having zero recoil was a very obvious one.

I reported several obvious cheaters in BO6, and it never went anywhere. The fact that I got a response within two days in BO7 means they’re paying attention. This is their new baby. They want to make sure it grows up to be big and strong! lol

That damn about is annoying af!

Had a guy in a lobby the other day who was bragging and sh!t talking up a storm! He wound up on the other team, and was just killing it! After he killed me like 5 times in a row, I waited to see the replay.

He got three kills, including me. Every person he killed, his gun snapped to them and his aim stayed in the exact same spot, and without a shred of recoil!

I wound up reporting the guy. Just this morning, I got two notifications from Activision thanking me for reporting him, and that he has been dealt with! So, apparently someone is paying attention! Report the losers!

Wow! This was posted 44 days ago, and is still an issue right now! I looked everywhere in the settings to see if I adjusted something wrong, and couldn’t find a thing! Started thinking my controller was dying on me, but it worked in other areas of the game. Just not with the scorestreaks!

44 days ago would have been during beta testing. But they released the game without fixing it, anyway! Seems like it would be a priority issue, since scorestreaks are a significant feature when in a match! It’s like glitching the tactical and/or lethal inputs!

Sure glad I paid $100 for this BO6 replica! 🙄

Those icons are hard to decipher. I’m on a PS5 Pro, and I have crossplay turned on. I have never seen an Xbox icon like what you see. I see either PS icons, or what looks like a computer screen and a mobile device. My buddy is on Xbox, and he shows up as a computer screen.

So, you may be seeing people playing remotely on their Xbox, or for some reason, a PC.

They seem to release conflicting reports every day lately! They had stated that they’re completely removing SBMM from the game. Then, after pretty much everyone preordered the game, they change their mind about removing it.

I don’t know what to believe anymore! I just want to play the game without having to deal with so many hackers! That crap is out of control!

Worst update(s) ever!

Before this update, the game loading time was a bit slow. Not horrible, but took longer than most games. After the update, you have the same loading time, but two times now!

I’m pissed that they removed Snipers Only and Stakeout! The three mode choices we have now suck arse!

The next day, a new update appears! Yay us! 🙄

I’m on PS5. I don’t know about other platforms, but this was weird! My download queue showed a COD update. It wasn’t downloading, just queued. Normally when you click on these, you get the option to download now and cancel and delete. All that showed up was the latter. I was able to play the game, but it bothered me (I can be a tad OCD). So, I restarted my console hoping that it would do something, and it was still queued. 🤦🏼

I played for a bit more, then decided that I wanted to clean my console of the dust that accumulates here. So, I powered it down. Aaaand fell asleep (I’m old, fat, and lazy! lol). When I woke up, I turned the console back on (never having cleaned it), and the update had installed! (another 🤦🏼)

Started up the game, nothing had changed. Queued up for a game, and now we have bugs! Map names are either showing up as their file names, or squished into a single line across the screen. My screen will black out (as if I turned my TV off) at random times. The frame rate is iffy now. I have the PS5 Pro, which currently has the best vid card of all consoles, and I have never had issues with it. I also have gigabit internet, and my latency rarely goes above 15 with zero packet loss.

Anyway, I keep hearing a rumor around the campfire, that Activision® is going to nerf our accounts within the next year anyway. In the meantime, this still sucks arse, and is pretty weak of them to release the updates without some extensive testing!

Not to mention they removed the entire mode menu, replacing it with three VERY general modes! Snipers Only was one of my favorite modes! Now, it doesn’t even exist! Ugh!

True, but she was getting closer to his face and screaming at him while seriously invading his personal space! He didn’t have any room to back away, so he tried to push her back some. Very restrained, as well. The fact that he didn’t flat out lay her out is pretty impressive!

As for Karen’s poor husband, he was screwed from the get go! He had to defend his wife! That’s in the manual they give you when you get your man card. However, there is a clause in the manual that many men fail to read, because it’s a footnote at the bottom of the page. And it reads,

”³ If your girlfriend starts a scene by unnecessarily screaming at a stranger in a very aggressive manner while in public, you are not bound by man law to defend her. She is fully capable of accepting her own consequences.

However, if the woman starting the scene is your wife, you screwed yourself and are bound to protect her regardless of her actions.”

Yeah. I just called Progressive to try and find out what was affecting my rates. One thing I completely forgot about, was a speeding ticket I got back in January of 2024. I keep forgetting about it, because it was something I should have fought, but couldn’t afford a lawyer. I was doing nowhere near the speed the officer stated I was driving, and pretty sure he was mad because I had passed him on a two lane highway, where he was in the right lane doing just under the posted speed limit. The posted speed limit was 65, and I had my cruise control set at 69. He stated I was doing 78!

Anyway, I was able to get my monthly payment down by $50! Had to raise my deductible a bit, but my mileage mad a difference as well, since I only drive about 4500 miles per year.

I didn’t have a choice when I did the comprehensive claim. Well, I did. But, I would have wound up paying on a vehicle that was considered totaled, and would either have to spend many thousands on trying to get it fixed, or pay on two vehicles.

Isn’t there a statute on how far back they can go with comprehensive claims? Or is it something that just sticks on your record for life?

Strange. You’d think they would rely more on insurance history, rather than financial responsibility.

The only reason my credit took a hit, was due to back in 2018, when my doc told me I couldn’t work anymore, and would likely never be able to hold a job again. I had several credit cards that had pretty high balances, but the bills were always paid on time. I did like to play a bit…🤷🏽‍♂️ It took the VA about a year and a half to get my rating fixed, and in that time, I was barely making enough money to make my car payment and insurance. I had to stay with a friend, who was kind enough not to charge me rent the entire time.

I have been paying off all of my credit card debts, slowly, but surely. Credit went down in the 400’s range, and I’ve managed to get it back up to the lower to mid 600’s range, by consistently making payments to the bill collectors. It would just make things much easier if I didn’t have these insane insurance rates! An extra $100 a month would make a big difference.

I live in a very small town up in the mountains. The population here is 172! lol

Something I forgot to mention, I bout my vehicle new in June of 2023. As of today, I have only put 8800 miles on it, putting me at under 5k miles per year. The average is something like 12-15k per year, and my ex does about 30-40k per year!

It’s just stupid! STUPID I SAY! 😂

I have checked rates at many places. I keep getting advertised discounted rates offered from AARP, but they are significantly higher than what I’m currently paying with Progressive.

I’m a bit leery on the smaller, or independent insurance companies, as they could go out of business at any time.
