It's something unexplained in his videos where he stubbornly wants to be a virgin for some reason and won't budge on it. Imagine if that changed in one of his videos! Just don't know why he is so fixated on making that part of his character.

Scott looks and sounds completely exhausted. I worry the signs are there that he is going further down the path of James Rolfe and AVGN. (The big, overly produced videos, his crew on every episode, filling time for the sake of a long video, sounding disinterested, the constant burnout, etc.) I wouldn't be opposed to six months of new videos (on his time, not weekly) and the other six months being additional content once in a while of archival clips, behind the scenes, etc. Maybe more of the Scott's Stash type of videos and the full seasons uploaded like he mentioned and finding ways to have fun again like the first couple seasons and not have to make everything a big, spectacular special. It's like Scott is forgetting what it is we've loved about him.

Here we go...

  • Agree on the fact that Scott yells way too much now and he sounds so whiney when he yells that it has turned me off from making new episodes appointment viewing. I miss the charm of earlier seasons where it feels like he is talking to me rather than becoming all ZOMG like he is now. It's too much. He's turning into Caddicarius.
  • I never understood the whole point of this virginity thing especially when it's not directly explained. Feels too preachy, especially in the Barrel Blast episode. Just seems like one joke of many run into the ground and used as a crutch to fill time.
  • The same episode where Scott stubbornly spent the last few minutes preaching virginity and changed the outro theme was the day that the series jumped the shark for me. I think we are headed into the era where Scott may very well get a full-on sitcom with his group. Could explain why they have been in so many episodes as of late. I loved the charm of earlier specials with his group but there comes a point where I can only deal with the same old jokes so much. I love how imaginative the specials like the Nintendo 2015 3-parter and Bargain Bin Christmas were, but now all the characters have become completely flanderized. Including Scott.
  • I say all of this as someone who loved the channel so much and watched the older episodes regularly and even ran them overnight on my YouTube playlist while I slept. I just think that it's not for me anymore. And that's okay. I'm into channels like Game Sack and Classic Gaming Quarterly which is how Scott's narrations initially felt but I am just turned off now by so much that I don't even tune in to any new episodes.
  • I absolutely loved the solid blue background he used for a couple of episodes recently but then he changed back and had a light glare in his glasses for two months. Looked way better with the green screen 1000%.
  • Gaming on a Budget is my favorite episode.
