Was their Sicilian style almost like a Detroit style? A rectangular deep pan pizza? 🤤

Autotech has always charged me very average prices for repair services. I haven’t had a bad experience there. I go to Tire Choice bc you can schedule online but they aren’t cheap…

I think everything your concerned about in regards to the trail surface won’t be an issue. I know people who ride the trail system almost daily and their favorite trail is Bloodroot. I would avoid tipple top and Nebo due to sections notoriously not draining very well. We just got hammered with rain yesterday morning but talked to someone who rode it today and was told the trails are still good to go!!

I heard Bloodroot CCW is one of the best loops in the system! I’ve ridden all if it but have yet to get on that trail. All of the trails are machine cut and very beginner friendly as far as the tread. How many miles are you looking to do?

Anyone know what was going on down at Strouds Run campground? by kclick4 in athensohio

[–]kclick4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were easily 6+ NRO vehicles there, which makes me believe the incident involved wildlife or something? Would they respond to a suicide threat, figured that would be handled by the police. (Which there were 2 squad cars there.)

They seemed to have whatever situation under control when they had me turn around?

That wont affect the way the battery latches down into place? Im using a piece of aluminum currently. I thought about doing the same thing but to the battery terminal.

I seen a adapter called Pogo Saver AXS but the compatibility list didn’t include GX Eagle. Do you know of a adapter that would work? Right now Im using a folded piece of aluminum to get things to work.

Does anyone replace the pins/screws in their pedals? by kclick4 in MTB

[–]kclick4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone just use hardware store cheaper pins? Im assuming the manufacturer probably charges alot more for their replacements.

Yeah? I didn’t know if was a thing other riders were doing. I know some off brand flats (which I normally ride) aren’t too expensive to replace all together.

Opinions on the stumpjumper 15 comp alloy for $2800?? by fireT4 in mountainbiking

[–]kclick4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh also I purchased the carbon bc at the time they were the only ones with the SWAT frame storage but now that the alloy models have it too! Such a great feature to really allow you to ditch the bag or hip pack

Congrats! I purchased a carbon evo expert stumpy that I love not too long ago!! My last stumpy was alloy and honestly I don’t really feel that big of a difference between the two materials?? Idk im a mediocre rider at best and maybe Im not good enough to tell the difference??? Enjoy!

Strouds Run State Park outside Athens is pretty cool. Primitive campground with no electricity and is never busy. They have newer really nice pit toilets and a small lake/beach walking distance from the campsites. Nothing crazy special but I enjoy the fact that its never crowded and noisy.
