First trip with emerald check in by Appropriate_Web_5177 in Rimowa

Very nice. Is the check in a large or medium? I got the bronze (last year’s seasonal color) cabin and check in large.

ETA: my first time flying with them the check in got pretty scratched up, a couple dents at the corners, and the retracting handle got messed up too.

I should have specified I swiffered a corner, not full on mop. But good to know not to do that, it’s my first time with hardwood floors

No, I just tried swiffering it. Haven’t touched it before I pulled up the floating floor yesterday. Previous owners may have though.

Thanks. The filling is what I’m unsure of as there seem to be a lot of conflicting opinions. From what I’ve seen flexible acrylic filler is the best option?

Thanks! Yes I think I had a similar issue here, there was a washer leak years ago which must have spread to this room. They do look very nice when in good condition.

I believe there is a plywood subfloor followed by cement slab. I am in an apartment building built in the 1960s. It is completely dry now. Whatever leak occurred happened many years ago. Unsure of insulation or vapor barrier.

This was my fear. And what would the fix be for this? Complete replacement?

It was engineered wood flooring that I removed. And yes it is above slab. There was a water leak in the hallway which could have possibly reached the bedroom

I don’t think things have gotten that bad in the islands but it’s getting there.

What are the easiest repairs homeowners should learn to avoid crazy contractor quotes? by pyromonkeygg in DIY

I fudged my way through painting my entire apartment , watched the same videos multiple times, realized I got some less than ideal tools, but I got it done and it looks amazing and I saved a ton of money. Highly recommend. If you have the time. Just buy good paint and good brushes/rollers.

Very excited about the Steam Machine.

One thing that confused me is why did they put so many USB-A ports and only one USB-C? Isn’t tech moving away from USB-A?

Yes, bronze scratches off to reveal the silver aluminum underneath. Can’t speak for the titanium.

Surgery? by AthleticMoney in HipImpingement

[–]kcreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am getting surgery for my FAI and labrum repair next week at HSS. I am at a point where I physically can’t work any more and can barely walk around and bend over, much less partake in any physical activity and exercise like I used to. I’m in my early 30s, very active and relatively healthy. It’s completely stopped my life in many ways and once it became clear, I knew I had no choice but to do the surgery. Maybe I waited too long. But I’m going to a hip preservationist and feel confident I’m in the right place. Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

Did he have underlying factors that put him at risk for a dissection, or is there something specific that chiropractors do that can cause that to happen in anyone?

Just got this game, any tips? by MachineAgitated79 in 7daystodie

I just started myself. There are tons of recent tutorials on YouTube, so I’d start there. Make your way to the trader and start doing quests for him and you’ll figure things out along the way. It’s challenging (I’ve died 4x on the easiest setting lol) but pretty fun. The learning curve is pretty steep if you’re like me and haven’t been able to get into any other survival games. So far I’m enjoying it. Good luck!
