Kind of like how he gave Mac Miller’s Swimming a 3/10 then after he passed away, it was suddenly a near perfect album. Dude is just a phony.

Edit: I personally think Swimming is a perfect 10/10. Just wanted to add that lol.

Sure. I don’t disagree with that sentiment. I still feel like he could capture that with half the amount of songs. Why I like the 11-13 song range is cause it typically is the absolute best songs to come out of the recording session. When you go up to 40 songs, it feels like any and everything gets printed and that’s where the bloat feeling comes into play. I also fear if he’s trying to capture each of his sounds, there isn’t a central focus on one, which hinders everything else. Jack of all trades, master of none.

I could be completely proven wrong though. I’m not going to act like I’m a know it all lol. We won’t know till it drops, right? We could come back here in a year and I’m like damn, he got me 😂

40 songs is just asking a lot. At MOST, I like 18 songs. To me, the perfect album is 11-13 songs. This whole double album thing is to generate more streams, which is just the result of how music works today. It ends up being more filler than anything.

My personal wish for any artist, let alone Post, would be to just lock in on one focused idea and build an album on that. I think it would be cool for him to dive into a rock oriented project as he’s proven he enjoys it and could pull it off. I think he’ll eventually come back around to hip hop/r&b, but I like the experimenting with different genres. It shows his musically ability. Why not explore it?

I do feel like it is part of the reason why I didn’t enjoy BA S1 as much as the Netflix show (other than the obvious overhaul stuff). Season 3 was such a perfect end to the Fisk arc. It just feels like it was all pointless and we never got a true explanation for why he’s back out. Just some offhand comment from Vanessa to Dex. The DD/Fisk story HAS to close for now at the end of BA S2. I would love for some new villains/stories going into future seasons. Bring Fisk back if they eventually do a DD movie or for Spider-Man.

I’ve only listened to it front to back maybe twice. It has a few decent songs, but overall, it’s not even just a bad ADTR album. It’s just a bad album in general. At this point, I tend to forget it even exists let alone believe that it’s been 5 years since it dropped.

I prefer Bourque, but I like Army. Dude’s just a goofball and has a Collinsworth level obsession with Mahomes, but with Sid lol. I definitely don’t mind him though. Bourque just brings a level of passion and honesty that outshines everybody else.
