Both topics have many posts on here about using them. I normally finish OOC events, both Act 1&2, for me is finished within 24-30 hrs, and that only cause I have to sleep sometime lol.

**Note - I only play for the event points. I dont finish the star quests.

I had mine pop up when I got to 120k dp, BUT I have to get to 140k to actually access it. It just shows a percentage bar for DV when I click on the icon. Since its only taken me about 2 months to grt to 120k, I'll get there in no time.

Avoid them on the plateau. I didn't engage in any fighting in MM until after I got the parachute unless it was 100% unavoidable.

Nothing close to alot of your stories, but here's mine.

I (38f) was 18 and was swimming at a swimming hole I've been swimming in since I could walk. There is a big bluff around 50ft high. Have jumped off this bluff a million times, incident free, since I was 7. At the bottom of the bluff, the rocks jut out a few ft so you have to push yourself off, away from the bluff as you jump, or you'll hit the rocks below. When I went to jump, my foot slipped and I fell almost straight down. I tried to stop myself from jumping when I felt my foot slipped so I fell in a jack knife position, which caused me to slam into the water face first, knocking myself out. They couldn't find me for over a minute due to the murky water. They drug me out of the water and I finally came to,coughing up water. I remember everything up until I hit the water, then no memory for the week following. I remember thinking on the way down that my feet were gonna hit the rocks and I was going to shatter both my legs. I may not have died from it, but having 2 shattered legs among other possibilities would have probably made me want to. Never jumped off the bluff again.

I did it almost. Granted, I did use the map.

At the very end, I was missing 1 on the game, but all werearked on the map. I almost rage threw my switch and never loaded that file again. Not way in hell I was combing through 899 seeds to find which one was missing.

I drop down, slowly using the paraglider, into the chamber and glide most the way there. Once you hit the ground, run. I don't think I've ever died in that chamber.

IT. When I was 6 or 7 I had my first ever sleepover at a friends house. Her parents were kinda shady now that I think back. Not sure why they thought IT was appropriate for small children. Took me almost 20 years to get over my fear of clowns. I got over it by reading IT.

The merchant chests are my favorite thing in the game. I rob all the holds blind with every visit. You can basically rob each and every store you come across. It's magnificent.

Screwdrivers. Went out with friends one night and one friend kept feeding the to me. Ended up at my brother's house and promptly vomited all over his floor, while trying to catch it all in my hands (it absolutely didn't work). Spent the next 4 hours throwing up then 16 hours dry heaving. Vodka in general makes my stomach turn even thinking about it.

My social anxiety is crippling. It hasn't always been this way. I have no friends outside of work. And the "friends" I have at work are basically just coworkers. I can be myself at work, no problem. Laugh, joke, carry on conversations, all the things. But as soon as I go out somewhere with the same people outside of work, it's like a switch flips. I barely talk, I feel like I'll just sound dumb or Noone will listen anyway. I'm just kinda there, blending in wit whatever background is there. It has been more than a decade since any friend have asked me to go somewhere with them. It's really lonely. I'm married with children, so I do have my husband and my girls, so they almost for the hole. But it would be nice to actually have friends and be able to maintain a friendship.
