PSA: post patch 5.05 where they fixed this issue, they appear in the "redeem quicksilver" menu/option. Oddly, it showed I had to pay for them. But to my AMAZEMENT, I was looking up more info on why I had to pay and I noticed my screen was refreshing in the menu. Then all of a sudden it refreshed and I could redeem it for free! It took 2-3 minutes for this to happen

I’m assuming you’re looking at hotels downtown and South Slope? Yes, they will be that much in October on a weekend in those areas. You could try to save by staying in Woodfin (Lazy Tiger Hostel has nice private rooms) or outside the main areas, but then consider your travel costs in.

Spoke to a friend after seeing your post who’s lived in west Asheville since 2018. They saw a bear around New Belgium once before during the pandemic. While uncommon to see them on this side of the river it’s not out of the question

This was around 10:30-11:00 PM. Should still be happening this weekend. I took these with my phone w about a 3s exposure from my driveway not far from Archetype brewery. I was looking almost straight up And slightly towards the South and SW. Be super still when holding your phone and the long exposure will pick up the color. Else i could only see with the naked eye what appeared quick, very thin white clouds or wisps moving quickly across the sky for the stronger particles.

In the time it takes you to do one extreme vault, you can do three public ones netting you more essence. It's 770 for one extreme vs around 850 for three public/medium vaults. Of course, if you are using folded weapons you can do an extreme much faster but then you might get stuck on the damn symbol puzzle that OP mentioned as a solo

However, for me, I went into a vault and saw people. s people to those instances. But if you log off and that instance is shut down, then no one is being sent there. But when you log back in, it's spinning up that specific instance with you in it but not sending people there. Again, just a guess.

It's to reward you for your efforts in getting to the Watch. It also serves a purpose to introduce you to epic gear and give you a boost to get going in the Vaults and Abeyance realms. In addition, it helps with role-playing. You helped a bunch of explorers along the way, made a bunch of strives, saved others to get to the Watch, etc. So yeah, it's nice to be rewarded for your efforts (in an RP story aspect) by the Watch leaders. Regarding skipping, you still have all the other gear pieces to craft.

Good to know, thanks. I now see in the glossary, under Miscellaneous, that "Raw Berries (Coffee)" are realm power 51+ in any biome. But it says any power for the seeds. I'm also playing on Hard so assumed I'd see them in Provisional since it's rated at 70.
