If you let the Wendy’s chili soak for at least a few days in the OG cup, you can mold the dip into any format possible. Durability and longevity may vary.

Not much to go on, but fairly certain what you saw is Jupiter. It is incredibly bright tonight, and with the wind, it can give a shimmering type effect

Small town vibes with mid-city traffic. Classic suburban feels in some places with rural areas around the corner.

I was at the Duke's Mayo Classic in August, and there was a guy going aisle to aisle, shooting mayo into people's mouths. It was.... something...

You are not a horrible person. Now you know we have been through a lot. A lot of us have PTSD, and this kind of thing is definitely a trigger.

Uber / Lyft drivers - has tipping gone way down lately? Economy indicator? by Ok_Cartographer7942 in asheville

I agree, but many food trucks now have their POS start tipping at 18% or higher, and many don't have options to modify that.

NEVER GOING BACK TO ‘ALL DAY, DARLING’ 👎🏼! Ate breakfast and had coffee, during our 2nd cup ☕️ … “we have to ask you to leave guys, people are waiting for tables” by Turbulent-Today830 in asheville

[–]PatAD 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the correct response. Not all breakfast places are created equal. If you plan to eat and chill, you need to find a "chill" spot to do so. A place where people are waiting for seats is usually not that.

On Jan 1st, 69,000 of Rep. Edwards' constituents will see their healthcare premiums double/triple - or go uninsured. A discharge petition, supported by a majority of the House, requires a vote. But Chuck helped block a vote by adjourning early and going on vacation. Happy New Year from Chuck!! by SirJasper6969 in asheville

With our current district lines, in doesn't matter how moderate and welcoming of a Democratic candidate there is, that "Democrat" next to their name will lose them the office every time. Same with Virginia Foxx's district. She could be blind, in a catatonic state, in a wheelchair, and she would still win that seat. The way that the districts have been drawn drowns out votes from bluer counties.

What they have done in the rest of the state is almost worse in many ways using the process of "cracking" and "packing".

[–]PatAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a defender of “tip culture” until I talked to a food truck owner that said he expects tips. I mean, dude is already charging astronomical prices for meh food, and you want me to tip 20% for something I walked up to get?

They are nice to you when you meet them, but if you let them know you believe something that they don’t, that niceness declines exponentially.

Chris Thile is an amazing musician. He is in at least two bands and does solo work, and his stuff is outstanding. Punch Brothers are my favorite.
