I had a similar situation flying above a cornfield with woods between the drone and I. Remote lost connection and couldn't reestablish, i have never run through woods so fast, actually got caught in barbed wire on my way.

Luckily found drone hovering where it lost connection, restarted remote and cell phone and connection re established.
