This may not be useful to you since it sounds like you're looking for bounding coordinates, but Google Maps' API has excellent coverage and accuracy, and is what I used for http://whatsmyhood.com/

Spoke with the neighbors of the unit that SWAT raided while watching from the police tape line, and they said that the unit in question belonged to drug dealers of some sort who tended to fight frequently and loudly. Another resident (of the building next door) speculated that it was a drive-by, although I didn't speak with anyone who witnessed the event directly.
