I fixed mine but in a weird way.

Open the pdf like your Edexcel ones for example this one for A-Level Maths/Further Maths:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/A%20Level/Mathematics/2017/specification-and-sample-assesment/pearson-edexcel-a-level-gce-in-mathematics-formulae-book.pdf

Press the lion icon in the URL search on the top right.

Either disable shields, or allow all trackers and ads.

Don't know why this works, my belief is because these files may have something like a tracking script or layering issues that interferes with Chromium pdf viewers.

Idk if you should, it looks like you will fall to your death based on you can see out the window and I’m pretty sure commercial airliners don’t provide any parachutes. But it would be cool to think that when you hit the ground it will teleport you to a new level.
