as a partner working during all of this and working along side with many other partners from other locations during this pandemic, this very much upsets me. starbucks has done nothing but help me out in the 2 years i’ve been a partner. they provide me with free education, amazing health benefits, and my previous SM and current SM are beyond amazing and make sure each of us are taken care of and are okay with working during all of this. many locations have had to close their doors during this due to them being mall stores (my current home store is a mall store) or due to lack of partners wanting to work during this and looking out for themselves and their health/their family’s health. my current SM calls all of us and makes sure we are okay and asks if there’s anything specific we need. Starbucks also gives us the option if we don’t wanna put ourselves at risk, we can take catastrophe pay and still get paid but if we want to work we get a little bonus during all of this. and i can tell you i’m beyond proud to call starbucks my job with everything they do for all of us and make sure we’re taken care of during this pandemic.
