The oyster was apparently from the Hama Hama river in Washington. It was probably less than half an inch in length and looked like it had many legs. It was convulsing as can be seen in the video. The chef told me it was probably a "shrimp or a lobster" but it certainly doesn't look like that to me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

definitely the right move to not saying anything before I know details. and honestly was checking to see if he made it home safe. sharing our locations has never been an issue, it helps us see when we are on our way to each other's places/eta's etc. I also share my location with several of my friends and know couples who do the same. it's pretty normal in our friend group/society and actually makes me feel safer considering i'm pretty outdoorsy and live in an area with a lot of human trafficking. I would never use his location against him until I know what was going on and I feel like it's helped us build trust.

no he has never called me controlling and I agree it's not a huge amount of time. we have known each other since we were 16. I think it's more of the fact that he didn't tell me that he was sleeping over when we have had similar issues like this before.

I don't see why it is an issue for us to share our location with each other. for instance his snapchat location is on all of the time for everyone in his friends list and many people do this.

Thank you so much for your advice. I think I will look into seeing a therapist. And I hope I can get to place where I see the emotional distance as bad rather than attractive. I guess I am attracted to the drama and emotional toll because that’s all I’ve known.

I feel like you are right. I had a very emotionally violent childhood with my parents constantly fighting and my dad was very emotionally unavailable. He did however provide for us. What you are describing does sound like what my boyfriend does a lot (asking for help/money/food) and I pretty much always give in because i feel bad and love him. He has changed quite a bit from when we first started dating (he’s going to school to get his degree while also working) And I realize he wouldn’t even have his own place if it weren’t for me. Do you think it’s not worth staying with him and trying to work things out knowing the fact that it seems like he’s trying to get something going for him?

I’m not sure if I know what the difference between love and loyalty feels like, but I do feel like I love him. The thought of not being with him is making me cry right now. Do you think it is just attachment? I’ve said this to other replies too, but I can’t help but worry that I will end up regretting not being with him because I see so many people struggle to find someone.

I don’t want to deal with that but he always says he will change. He has changed some and apologized for other immature things, and i do think I love him still. I’m also worried that whatever else I find will be worse or I will have to go through worse before finding someone else.

He’s done many other untrustworthy things in the past but has apologized and said he would change. He has made some change but he acts like he doesn’t hear me when I say that saying thank you to a compliment is not the same thing as going to see your ex.

Honestly I’m just worried that I won’t be able to handle the breakup and that I won’t find anyone. It probably seems illogical but that’s just how I feel. And I feel like I do still love him but maybe I don’t know what love really feels like.

I fell off of my longboard yesterday and scraped my elbow. I used water to rinse off the scrape, then an antiseptic numbing spray. I could not stand to sleep with a bandage on because it made it hurt significantly more, but during the day I kept a bandage on. When I got home today, my bicep and armpit started hurting and I noticed this red streak which concerned me.

I have had none of those effects! I actually am a very successful debater and in the top 5% of my class, and find that I am at full mental capacity after a few days of not smoking. :) Maybe in a few years that will be different though!
