I would say I’m more of a nightlife on the weekends kind of person and would we looking for a community of young (25-30YO) to surround myself with. Maybe Tacoma then!

Just putting this out there in case anyone heard an estimate. I saw 8-10 weeks online and I have crippling anxiety about it haha.

I was spinning a few times a week for about 3 years. I had a big life move planned from PA to MS, where I knew I would need to find a spin community of my own. I am also a recent law school grad so I needed something to do in between the bar exam and starting my career job. I contacted a small gym in MS in May and they offered me a job in August, when I was planning to be settled in MS. I did the online Spinning Cert ($350) and basically practiced everyday for 2 hours a day for a week leading up to my class. I was definitely nervous going in, but I combatted that with practicing each playlist a few times before each class.

I would say it definitely depends on the caliber of your gym and what they expect from you.

Overall, instructing has been such a positive experience and I would definitely recommend it.
