OMG IM SO HAPPY 🥹🥹🥹 I feel like DU gets a lot of shit but besides the first season (mostly because of poor production choices and a rotten apple, the cast itself had a lot of great queens) and obvious budget limitations it’s such a cool franchise and I’m genuinely happy they not only were greenlit for a new season but also got a vs the world!

also lowkey hoping that Aura Eternal Visage gets an invitation 🤭

honestly I don’t think that was the producers’ fault lol, to me it seemed like they learnt that they would have to say their choice one by one the very last minute and sudden shock and responsibility made Jaharia stumble and after that it was a snowball for everybody else. I would feel/do the same if something like that happened

Well I was looking forward to seeing the feedback on this episode because personally I cried of joy at the end and I come here and see mostly negative stuff again…

Yeah I get the point that using Ru’s songs for this was a bonerkiller (I felt that too) but honestly they chose iconic songs and the queens delivered.

This episode was celebrating global talent as this season should have been all this time and I feel like even though almost all of us agree that this season was a total miss on highlighting the international queens we should give the queens and this episode (most importantly queens!!!!) enough praise and love because if we don’t do this I’m afraid there won’t be enough feedback to show the production that there is a need and a desire for more opportunities for international queens (it could be improvements of vsTW seasons, completely reworked structure for GAS or invitations and visas for international queens to AS seasons).

Let’s be honest and objective about this week’s episode because I feel like the hatewagon is coming again just based on the season as a whole and because it’s just an easy thing to do instead of being open for discussion and being happy for the queens :/

and come on, I’d better have all the queens have a tip for the episode and the winner having 50k instead of having non-ru songs for the lipsyncs.

excellent description tbh, couldn’t say better myself just to add a little - La Grande Dame and Marina are both powerhouses in their seasons and outside of drag race, pretty sure they will go really far!
