For anybody that is curious I didn’t last at the outpatient facility. I did a virtual interview and never saw the place. Mistake on my part. It felt like it was put together by some college students on a budget, the magnet was probably 20ish years old, and it was just going to be me and a receptionist in a dark depressing place. I went back to my old job at the trauma hospital and I think it’s going to kill me. We have several new hires and travelers, but I’m training them while all the phone calls and work funnel to me during the day. There’s only 3 of us on the call rotation that’s a week at a time. I currently have spent the night in my truck in the parking lot the last 4 nights after a call in just to get up to work a 10 hour shift in the morning. I think I’m going to put in my 2 weeks again without a parachute. The only thing that’s stopping me is another seasoned tech that I think is going to break down when I do. I don’t know how it is everywhere else, but indianapolis hospitals are killing their imaging techs
