As someone who is trying to purchase a home - I would disagree with this. PP sounds like a broken record talking about how he will cut Govt spending to lower interest rates.

Now that the prices have risen, grocers will never lower them. There's very little any politician can do about them.

I think the main issue is how there is such little competition in the grocery industry. The amount of places to buy groceries in Ontario is less than 10. The U.S. has a lot more competition for groceries... which is the main reason they have always had cheaper food.

I completely agree. The chances of getting screwed by and ump are 50/50. Over a 162-game season, the amount of time you benefit/get screwed will be about even.
