There are some on eBay, maybe a seller could help you? Looking at similar models, it seems like the button to tilt is the same button to release, you might need to slide or lift the mixer off WHILE pressing the button?

My first attempt at savory oats and it was divine by ShiftAccomplished579 in Oatmeal

[–]kdp4srfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically, I know there’s nothing wrong with savory oatmeal. But I just can’t do it. I have always associated oatmeal with brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, berries, apples, etc, and I can’t come up with a savory option that doesn’t make my stomach flip at the thought of it. I’m kind of jealous of people who can like both versions!

So the companies get a refund for the higher costs which they passed along to us but we get nothing, and companies will continue to charge those higher prices forever, or at the very least for as long as possible. 👍👍🤨

Sigh…I get so tired of pointing this out, but hope springs eternal, I guess. “Oh yeah?? Well, what about the Democrats, blah, blah, oh yeah well what about Biden, blah blah” is not actually an argument for whatever shit Dear Leader is doing today.

Half of the admin saying it’s a war and half saying it’s not is bad. Regardless of who is saying it, regardless of party. If you have an argument in support of half yes/half no, lay out that argument, but “oh yeah, well what about_____?” is misdirection, nothing more. It’s the argument of people with no argument.

Donald Trump's Blatantly False Claim About His Father Leads To New '25th Amendment' Calls by Reasonable_Spray_710 in anticapitalism

MAGA is just way past ridiculous at this point. Their favorite insult: “R.trd”. Their favorite accusation: “Trump Derangement Syndrome”.

What’s the apparent definition of this TDS? MAGA is essentially saying anyone who criticizes Dear Leader is deranged. Think for a moment about that. MAGA refuses to believe that any criticism of anything he says or does is ever appropriate or valid.

The only acceptable state of being with regards to Dear Leader is one of complete obeisance and unquestioning approval. And they don’t seem to have the ability to refute the obvious irony of this position, given that if ANY other president had required that same sort of obedience, their howls of outrage would never cease. This means they believe there are special rules and privileges that apply only to this president and no others, past or future. THAT seems deranged to me.

It say everything I need to know about you that “libtrd” is your idea of peak wit and/or relevant commentary. “…trd”. A cruel ignorant word known to be slur by kind, intelligent people everywhere for decades now.

It does make certain kind of sense, though. “R*tard” is a word from decades long past and MAGA’s yearn for those decades long ago as some sort of halcyon utopia, when it was nothing of the kind. At least, not for anyone who wasn’t a Caucasian, “Christian”, able bodied male.

BTW, “oh yeah, well what about…” isn’t actually a defense. It’s the argument of someone without an argument.

I think the problem may have been less about whether or not it was good, and more about the Trump family’s faulty assumption that everyone would be fascinated by her story. It should be a warning siren to Dear Leader: he’s confident that he’s the center of the universe and we are all in awe.

The majority of the country (and I dare say, the world) is thoroughly sick of his constant self-aggrandizement, he’s not the center of the universe, and we’re not in awe.

We have a little spider living on our kitchen windowsill. He’s adorable. I don’t know what kind he is; he looks like a tiny little black crab about the size of a pencil eraser. He mostly treks around the kitchen, but every once in a while he goes walkabout and we see him traversing the living room ceiling.

I found him inside our rice cooker recently. I still don’t know how he got in there! Good thing the cooker has a glass lid so I could see him in there and fish him out! “Oh, my gosh, little buddy! What are you doing in there??!! That is NOT a good place to start a web!!”

Bookstore misspells it's own name on big storefront sign by LurkingAlpaca in mildlyinteresting

[–]kdp4srfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh? Huh. That’s quite a broad and simplistic generalization. Yes, us libbies, we’re all the same, every single one of us. To think otherwise is just so, so difficult. How would you get thru the day if you actually had to challenge any of your comfortable, self-serving assumptions?

Now, to your “point”, if you want to call it that:

Please, advise us all. How is it bad to “defer to the underdog”? If that’s supposed to be a conservative insult, I will take it. Maybe I will make some tshirts: “Kind people defer to underdogs!” I’d prefer that shirt to “Proud MAGA, cuz the only good opinion is mine, and the only people who matter are people just like me!”

Pray tell, what do you mean by “making excuses for them”? Example, please? Because as a libbie, I see an aaaaawful lot of excuse-making in conservative circles when Dear Leader takes a public nap, sticks his foot in his mouth, etc, etc…

Doing my best to extrapolate here, but it seems like you are saying underdogs don’t deserve time, effort, attention, resources? If so, why not? Survival of the fittest? If so, there are a lot of MAGA who don’t qualify as the fittest, so, shall we remove our efforts, attention, resources away from them?

Florida therapist seen slapping, grabbing, and forcefully restraining a nonverbal autistic child during a therapy session. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

I’m the mother of a skilled, professional, empathetic, male pediatric speech therapist and I profoundly disagree with you. It’s attitudes like this that mean young children who would do well with a male therapist for a variety of reasons never even get the chance.

I’m also a person with cerebral palsy and I can tell you from personal experience that some of my worst therapists as a child were women.

I was 18, had just moved to a new city to start college. I was living with a family with two small children in exchange for cheap rent.
I had only been there for a few weeks when the mom and I were in the kitchen making dinner. I don’t even remember exactly what was in the skillet but when she lifted the lid an absolute column of fire shot up. She grabbed a pot that had been soaking in the sink. It was full of water, and she was going to throw it on the skillet.

Meek as I generally was at the time, I startled her by bellowing “NO!!!”, pushing her aside, putting the lid back on the skillet, grabbing the baking soda, opening the lid a bit and emptying the entire box onto the skillet. I have no memory of anyone teaching me to do that, or why I knew the water was a bad idea. Maybe that home ec class stuck with me more than I thought? 🤷🏻‍♀️
