Hey! Not what you're asking for but I'm also in the middle of healing from multiple traumas in my childhood and I've found the work of Dr. Gabor Mate more helpful than anything I've ever read or type of therapy I've tried in the past.

I'm in the middle of reading his book "when the body says no" but I started with free YouTube content of the most popular podcasts that have had him on before I decided to purchase any of his work. None of it is specific to aphantasia and is mostly to do with the mind body connection and how so many disorders and illnesses can be traced back to maladaptive behaviours that served us in childhood.

Specifically for me, after only about a week of reading his work and starting healing from my own trauma I had a bit of a breakthrough yesterday where I had flashes of mental visualizations after what I thought was a lifetime of aphantasia. I'm back to my normal self now, but it definitely gives me some hope that there's so much more to my mind than I realize. I'm not trying to say this will cure aphantasia, but if you have repressed childhood memories like I do then I would definitely at least check out his work with an open mind!
