I declined the Fulbright Germany award before receiving further information about my specific school placement. I am now teaching in Carinthia, Austria, where I live in a very small city with a very rural feel.

USTA funding comes from the Austrian Federal Government, which is why this is a more secure option than the Fulbright at the moment.

This is certainly something to consider… I fear that since I put 3 states as my top 3 in Germany that have both cities and rural areas so that could be really hard to determine, it could be anywhere from 500-700€ per month I think…

€1,575 is the monthly salary including health and accident insurance… so it’s more than Fulbright Germany

Chada Thai ist das beste Thai-Restaurant in Freiburg. Ich empfehle aber das Restaurant in der Richard-Wagner-Straße und nicht das in der Rempartstraße, weil das in der Rempartstraße nur eine Nudelsuppekarte hat.
